As the title says, I've been crashing whenever I try to show info on a solar system. This happens only when I play the game on my laptop, and has started in the last couple of days (possibly since the rev II deployment, but I cannot verify this). Is anyone else having this problem? If this is just me I guess I'll have to reinstall, but otherwise I'll file a bug-report.

try deleting the machonet, map, shaders, temp, and texture folders in C:\documents and Settings\USERNAME\local Settings\application Data\CCP\eve\cache

Nope, didn't work. I still crash. It seems to only be solar systems that do this. I've tried showing info on various other things, and they all work, but every time I show info on a solar system... *poof* CTD.

Hi, I have the same problem when I show info on a solar system or use mini map F11 I crash ( CTD) and I have try reinstall EVE but that dit not work then I format my computer and reinstall every thing but it still not working :(
HELP !

One of my buddies have exactly the same problem.
I've tryed a lot of things but none solved the problem.
Any help will be welcome, maybe someone from CCP...
He is using HP Pavillion dv6000 series with Vista.

Hello,
Just installed Eve on my Laptop (Dell XPS1730) :
- Windows Vista Premium
- Driver nVidia up to date (dual Go 8700 GT, tried with SLI innactive and active).
I get the exact same problem... pressing F11 key result in an immediate crash of the game.

Same here. But crash only happens on Vista. On windows xp i get white box instead of um... "System Portrait".

It always crashes for me if I hit F11 or open the system info dialog. Is there any fix for this?

File a detailed but report - they may be able to tell you how to fix it.
