Alright, so now that they've made grouping up worthwhile for missions, some of my buds might come and fly my alt on missions with me.
My main is all set with a T2 fitted Nighthawk and can do all of the level 4's sent her way. What should my other character train for as the perfect duo partner for an actively played character? I'd prefer answers other than "another Nighthawk" even though that is probably the correct response. I was thinking of an Eos, Claymore, Sleipnir, or Absolution. Any thoughts?

I fly a NH too, and my buddy flys a Sleipnir, fitted for dmg and a little tank so if he pulls aggro its not a big deal.
works great as he pops the frigs at range and i take care of the frigs close. he can 1 volly most the cruisers and i start on BS's and once we are into hull i switch to the next bs while he finish them off.
sown side to projectiles for us though is we fight mainly guristas so there isn't a lot of high kin dmg ammo, but we manage =)

I'm in the NH tanking and taking out everything sub-BS.
Alt is in a 3x SB II, 5x BCU II, Siege II Raven that blows up the BSs. Also has a Medium Transporter II to let me not think about my cap levels.

If i can deside what my partner flies, it would be a Raven with Torps. Everything else is fingerfood for a Nighthawk

As Naomi said torpedo raven would be best option to gang up with nighthawk to kill bigger stuff. If you can afford it then cruise CNR + Torpedo CNR is faster than Nighthawk + Torpedo CNR if/when you would be looking for ways to add additional efficency to your mission running (assuming lev 4 missions).
