Duct tape is ineffective for use in heating and air conditioning ducts, through very effective for a plethora of other uses. Duck Tape is just a company name.

Do these only drop as loot from officers and such?
Or could you get them from Angel agents for LP?

when in the profession of being a stage techie for all manner of stage events be they concert, musical, or otherwise something that happens in a theatrical stage type area i second that opinion.

well duh, you don't use it to stick the sheet metal ductwork together, duct tape is used to connect the flex (plastic flexible piping covered in insulation) with the duct work. I know, I used to do H-VAC

Do you go around telling people that your shiny Ferrari is a car? No you tell them its a Ferrari. Same with duck tape. If its got a big duck logo on it and the letters above it say duck then you've got yourself some genuine duck tape, which yes is in fact duct tape but thats irrelevant.
