Hey, leave those poor muffins alone. And besides, if I got an offer to 1v1 from a corporation who had previously dishonored one, there's no way I would do another.
You said yourself, reputation does matter. Your corp has a bad rep. You suffer the consequences of that. So quit whining and get a cov ops and kill him the old fashioned way.

Unless I'm completely misunderstanding this, this line says that he had a bad experience with your current corporation with duels. If that's not the case, what exactly are you saying?
Not trying to be a jerk by the way. If your corp has been honorable in the past, and he's just making excuses, that's one thing. But this seems to say something else.

He states that my corporation is dishonorable without any proof. The duel he was tricked in was the most recent one he engaged in - nothing to do with my corp.
Ah, ok. Apologies if I didn't understand it correctly. Though I still think you should just do the cov-ops and try to catch him off guard.
But just incase you're wondering about the mentality, I do have some insight for you. Since I've recently gotten back into pirating (had 4.5 sec status a few weeks ago...not so much anymore!) I've stopped doing duels. It's really hard to find anyone that will honor them. Very few corps that I'd actually trust in all honesty...and half of them have disbanded. I haven't heard of you guys until now, so if I got offered the same thing from you I would refuse on the grounds of "no rep" rather than bad reputation.
Well, unless it was a kestrel duel. I think I could live with the loss if you wanted to dishonor that one
