Laser Activation cost is to High on large Guns
How about reworking are dmg type to thermal em damage
be nice have a Battleship with a Drone Bonus

How about a Bonus to armor shine? I'd settle for my ships ability to keep people from locking on solely due to their lack to directly look at my shiny ships hull.

Not true, amarr got 25% bonus to all pulse lasers and lowered the pg req to med beam lasers.

I have already train caldari because you can't play with amarr only ... I keep the transport ship, inty for travel and 2 ships for 2 very very specific thing !
I go train minmatar for have some fun with a gun race and very good agility/speed :)

Edit: Whoops, meant 25% to TRACKING of pulse lasers.
It was merely a fix than a boost. The Major issues with Amarr are still not solved. If you're in doubt just check the plenty of threads regarding how Amarr's problems versus other races.

Adjust ammar cap and laser cap usage, so the laser usage bonus becoems non needed. Change the bonus into a 5%(maybe 7.5%, but not 10% it would be simply UBER) armor ammount bonus.
If brute force doesn't solve your problem... you are not using enough |

The slight fixes they made didnt do much, and the eanm nerf just nerfed half of my amarr setups (vengeance, punisher, geddon, maller, RIP ) . Do not read this thread!!!

A 'refuge' adaptive nano plate thingie is better than t1  And it has ZERO cpu use. only like 4 mill.

But the lack of the extra 5 percent on your tank can make a big difference.
The eanm nerf hurt amarr setups more than any other race. If they were looking to reduce the EM resists of other races they should have just dropped the base em resist on other races. (Amarr are supposed to have the highest resistances anyways right ) . Do not read this thread!!!

Amarr are fine. Pulse lasers are already the best close range weapon system after the tracking boost. If you're too stupid to understand why, you probably aren't qualified to make any judgments on balance anyway. тттттттттттт

LOL i skill t2 pluse long time ago you think we do best close range dmg, you got be jokeing 80% ship got good Em res anyway when you need fix 3 cap rig and two cap in mid run your guns at same time useing your Armor rep plz .
how long think we last if we use Mwd on then to keep in range ? come back in year time when you skill for Amarr your see

Yes it's really the VERY BEST close range weapon, less tracking weapon, more cap usage and less damage but yes it's the best if you watch since the end :P

Fix omni Armor tanking and Amarr are good again. Suggestions below, also dumb ones: 1) Increase the bonus reduction (the closer you get to 100%, the less bonus you get from modules), so it is harder to get above 80% resist. 2) Increase the EM damage to compensate a bit. 3) Reduce all other races damage modifiers so we can be the king of tanking. 4) Increase laser's damage modifier to compensate. 5) Remove ENAM (all versions of it) from the game. 6) Remove armor compensation skills. 7) Increase ROF of lasers to compensate.
Don't give Amarr a big drone ship, thats for the gallente race. Don't give us explosive crystals, multiple damage type ammo are a Minmatar thing. Don't give us a missile boat, that is for the Caldari Don't remove the 10% cap bonus to laser, THAT is an Amarr thing.
I want each race to have a uniqueness besides the look of their ships.

1) it's called stacking nerf, also, minmatar T2 ships may have 92.5% EM on armor, should we take them their AS/HAS resistance bonus off? 2) this kills the shield tankers who are not T2 minmatar <- I would say take from EM and add to thermal 3) it's not modifying only your tanks, but it's easier to increase the amarr multipliers, it should be calculated by raw DPS per range, and the damage type modified too, then it should be better. 4) mostly what I have said in 3. look in 2 5) remove any 'adaptive' stuff, remove invulnerability fields too? I don't think items everyone use can be removed from the game. It's the damn lasers that need a fix! 6) remove shield compensation? (you can't gimp armor tanks for one broken thing, if you take that away, those go away too) have we spent so many days on that for nothing? no, you can't remove skills that have been used for a long time from the game. Also, many people don't train much the EM compensation, there's no point in going lvl 5 compensation for EM! 7) look raw DPS and compare, I think people at CCP already make graphs for such questions. But their graphs were raw DPS and never 'DPS against racial armor' (caldari has higher thermal and minmatar higher EM, amarr has higher explosive, all compared to gallente armor I use) or 'DPS against shield' (seems like all shields are the same) to balance it.
finally, all you want is the EM damage to be more effective, then all you need is it ont being EM damage, but thermal damage and maybe a bit buff in raw DPS (but one thing at time. When amarr can do close to full therm damage with lasers, we will check if it is needed).
