Originally by: Shiraz Merlot Excellent! I really like it. 3. How about the ability to offline a module whilst leaving it fitted? Especially the mwd.
Left click the green arrow next to an active module to turn it off (click the red "x" that appears in the green arrow's stead to turn it back on).
Right click the green arrow or the red "x" to Overheat the module, left click the "Fire" icon that takes the green arrow's/ red "x"'s place to turn off heat (the fire becomes a green arrow regardless of what it was before).
Originally by: Naomi Wildfire I tried this program today. Its pretty nice, but what there are some things i'm missing.
Cap test like in Quickfit Doubleclick for Fit and Unfit Infos of modules will get shown if clicked Calculated DPS
Right above the capacitor icon on the right hand side of the ship setup pane there is a place that will say how long your capacitor will last; activate and deactivate modules to vary the result.
Below and to the left of the capacitor icon there is a gun icon in the "Firepower" section of the setup pane, next to the gun icon on the right there is a number. That number is you DPS. Below that is your "Volley damage" which is your Alpha Strike.

Regards Genevieve
Click on the Guristas faction button on the left side of the Ship Browser.
Thanks Marcus..
Oh Freature Suggestion, 1 export ship fitting to a file. ( so we can share them ) 2 Import XML Character info, I can save my Character info with Eve Mon then use that file to update Eve Fitting tools.
Just some thoughts.

It does. Go to the folder where you have EFT and there should be a folder named "Setups". Each Setup has all saved setups on that particular ship. XML is out, API is in. ------------------- ნỊs uʍop əpỊsdn |

The Missile RoF bonus on the Rattlesnake is not being taken into account in the DPS calculation. ------------------- ნỊs uʍop əpỊsdn |

Umm, No?
And how soon are you planning to get the new ships on sisi in? As soon as the bonuses come out?
Umm, No? umm no what? Cap rechargers should go in the low slots shouldnt they?
Go check on Tranq. I'm tired of dealing with tards and idiots today. (****ing Halo 3) ------------------- ნỊs uʍop əpỊsdn |

Wow, sorry about that. I was a being a complete douche. To answer your question, Cap Rechargers are Mid slot modules, while Capacitor Power Relays are Low slot modules.
I hope that clears up any confusion. ------------------- ნỊs uʍop əpỊsdn |

Originally by: Raz Gulderoi Eve fit tool is lying to me. In particular it doesn't calculate cap recharge rate accurately. I had been noticing discrepancies between what EFT was telling me and what I was actually getting. Obviously, I had imported my char using the API and fitted the ship exactly as in game.
In order to do a sanity check and ensure that its EFT that is wrong I checked a Hyperion, completely unfitted, and with no skills. According to EFT you get a recharge rate of 12.
This is incorrect. The correct value is 7200/1500 = 4.8.
Not a huge discrepancy, but it gets much worse as soon as you use skills and cap rechargers etc.
Is there a quick fix for this? I'm using V 2.4.1
Capacitor reaches its peak recharge rate at roughly 40% of capacity. It does not recharge at a flat rate per second. The closer your cap gets back towards being full the slower it recharges. Hence you need to use the little formula Gripen gave and not just CAP / RECHARGE TIME.
It's actually around 30%, but otherwise, you're correct. Expressed as a graph, the cap recharge rate peaks at 30% remaining and is very small close to 0% and 100%.
That is correct. It is indeed a Bell Graph with the apex located at the 33.3...% mark. ------------------- ნỊs uʍop əpỊsdn Support the introduction of Blaze M crystals for Amarr! |
