Annihilative Intention. has declared war on Thunderstruck..
After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.
Having expected this decleration for several days after Sheriff Justice (ANILE CEO) had made a fool of himself by convoing me during his 'research' of Thunderstruck, on the 29th as 21:03 approached, we formed up a gang to counter the ships we knew they flew - and waited.
and waited... and waited... and waited...
They failed to turn up. This supposed 'mercenary corporation' hadn't made a very bold opening statement. Infact, they hadn't made a statement atall.
We had a gang ready to counter what we thought they would bring late in to the night, but failing to bring even themselves, we got back in the veldsuckers and jumped to the belts to continue our wrath of evil upon the rocks of Elgoi.
They didn't show up once for the entirety on the 'war', instead opting to stay in and around their HQ system, some 15 jumps away, doing what seemed like nothing. They failed to even come near us, even once. We did not go to them - for the clear reason that they had declared war upon us.
Had they been hired? If so, the client seriously needs to reconsider their choice of mercenaries in the future. I thought it was almost general war ettiquette to fight a target if you declare war upon them?
Perhaps this was a psychological contract that set out to demoralise us to an extent whereby the decleration alone meant disbanding was the only option...  Apparently though the psychological effects backfired and so:

The war between Annihilative Intention. and Thunderstruck. is coming to an end. Annihilative Intention. has retracted the war against Thunderstruck.. The war will be declared as being over after approximately 24 hours.
Moral of the story: Don't hire Annihilative Intention.

Despite that thunderstruck. portrais suck big time, they are actually winning my respect.
