So, I'm only a few days old, maybe a week or more. I've been in my corp (which is barely older than me) since the first day I was put in a capsule, and fun has been had. I've experienced many firsts, including my first gang-kill, my first triggering of someone getting concordokened and my first solo kill, all in 1.0 - 0.9 space.
Yes, sure, I'm young and I'm still pirating in hisec, so sue me... but I do have a problem. As a corp, we are mostly new pirates, and as such can only fly very basic Rifters. We've been canflipping miners in hisec, usually with no response, but we did get this one guy. A month old himself, and clearly not a new alt because of what he did. We flipped his can, and he flipped back, so our guys working him made a Pinata out of him and smacked him about to get at the good stuff inside.
Only problem was, he was in an anti-pirate corp, which is a member of an anti-pirate alliance... the kind of alliance that likes to wardec noob pirate corps.
We're all pinned in a station in hisec... what do we do?

i only see three options so far.
1. be men, undock and give a fight as best you can. 2. pay them to leave you be. 3. log out, eat pizza, drink beer and forget all about eve.
i'm sure there's more but i'm drunk and don't care to think of anymore. have fun and welcome to the pirate life.

Or.... you can disband the corp and go back to newb corp. Leave the area and reform elseware.....
Just remember you may need to go far far away to prevent them from decking you again hehe.

Plan ahead?
There is this nifty skill called Infomorph Psychology and the concept of jump clones. Get a few clones spread apread out far enough where it wont be easy for them to chase you down right away. Have a couple of your favorite ships at each location. If you get pinned down at one location - JUMP.
Of course you are limited to only 1 jump every 24 hours but at least your out and about and not pinned down (until they find you again - but if you play your cards right, after you jumped you'll be on the move).

Tough luck, you got what you asked for.
Playing smart is also a part of being a pirate if you don't want that happening, although when that happens its fun, many free targets but I can see your point of view.
So well, yeah. Tough luck. Deal with it, give them a fight :)

What Smack?
Anyway, this is all less of a problem for me than it is for my corpmates. My sleep pattern has changed a little recently, giving me time online when their main fighting force is offline but their miners may still be around.
Miners that are warflagged to you are fun to hunt, and even better when they're paying for the privilege

That'd explain it. I'm almost offended. Smack is bad. I do enjoy reminding them that they're basically paying 124 ISK a second to keep the war going, though ;)

Take this as an opportunity to learn to fight something other than mining barges. Or sit docked in the station like the carebears you steal ore from.

Well, you could jumpclone, but you need a lot of standing with a NPC corp to get one, or you need to pay a corp specialized on providing jumpclones, but you don't probably have enough isks for it.
So probably your only option is, as already mentioned, disband your corp, move all your members to the other side of empire and form a new corp there.
If you get chased, make the same again, until they get bored :D
And don't smack back, or it will get personal for them and you won't get rid of them.

Edited by: Xarthaginian on 03/07/2007 18:14:49 Right firstly your being camped, no biggie, its highsec, they cant use smartbombs to catch shuttles so jump in shuttles, undock and warp away. Secondly, go about 4 jumps, this should shake off anybody chasing you and fit new frigates with the gains from your ill-gotten booty. Then come back as a gang, with voice comms and a good scout and pvp in frigs. Theres much fun to be had pvping this way and you will learn more. Edit. And when you log off dont all log off in the same station or you'll be camped again. Try using differant stations in 4-7 surrounding systems.

To be absolutely safe, make sure there are no wartargets in local.
I'd take the opportunity to go explore lowsec in those cheap rifters of yours. One or two lowsec rats should pay for one, and two rifters can chew up a rat quickly. If your rifter is getting owned by a player, spam "warp to" a planet as you're dying and your pod should be uncatchable (it'll warp instantly as you die).
If you're feeling brave go to 0.0 and have a go at chewing up big fat rats in gangs, orbit close in and kill the frigates first. Do the same to players too
Frigate swarms can be deadly. Remember to kill enemy drones first if their big weapons can't hit you. A couple navitas or... whatever the caldari ewar frig is can make your frigate gangs even more deadly.
If I were you I'd go somewhere where pirates/randoms will kill your wartargets for loot and entertainment. Then I'd laugh as they die, and warp past their wrecks and twisted corpses in your quick little frigates.
Remember if you do fight your wartargets tII loot from one of them will probably pay for new well fitted frigates for your entire corp.

Can flagging noobs in high sec that don't know the game mechanics is kinda lame tbh. Camping u in station is a good lesson for you. However, how exactly are they camping u in station? if ur only in frigates then u should be able to leave. or just get in a shuttle and leave, go somewhere else, preferably low sec or 0.0 and continue your pirating career.
