CONCORDS 6 BS and 8 crusiers comming from egbringer....
we have 20+ ships in B-VIP for 4 hours strait...
It's a game, but what are the events team playing at?
perhaps you find it funny.....
keep this **** up and you will run out of PAYING customers

i dont remember ne1 giving a time it wud take place but if its nething like the jovian event i beleive that went on a few days.

What jovian event? I heard from the concord fleet as it shot some curse ships.

Was it said at any time that those rogue CONCORD commanders were coming for you, the CA?
Feeling guilty? 
At any rate, no time was given, no place was given. You just sat in a system, and hoped the event would come to you. Too bad for you it didn't.

Why would CA feel guilty? The news he was refering to said that CONCORD was coming up to 0.0 space through Egbinger so of course first system in line would be CA space.
At least they tried to interact with the game...

Or the Great Wildlands.... Or Jovian space... Or Polaris space... Or they might be flying through Curse to get at the Xetic Alliance... Or staging an assault against the Angels headquarters in Curse...

They would still have to pass through CA-space, right?
That's the issue here. And Darkwolf. At no point in his post did Gunship assume that the concord fleet were coming for the CA. READ the posts instead of just reading IN to them what you want. If you're leaving empire space from egbinger you end up in B-VIP. Hence the ships waiting for them there.

I think they will show up but not before the weekend, it would be pretty stupid of CCP to hold an even in the middle of the week rather then the weekend when more player can get involved

Now that would be crappy.
Why anounce the event on wednesday as something imminent, when only going to do the thing in the weekend ?
And btw, when there are like 40 ships camping the point anounced as starting point, wouldn't you, if you were the GM spawning the Polaris ships, place em few systems further on to avoid the camp ?

if ccp and polaris announce something and they announce that aditude was where the ships were spoted why move them past our blockade? ****ing ppl off just beacause they dont like CA is no way to run a game. BUt I wasnt thier for the concord ships I was thier to prevent unlawful tresspassing of CA space.

and to the dear members of SA/evol etc... this has nothing to do with alliance/corp wars, so why the attitude? If the news info had pointed to a system outside your door step and you had sat 4+ hours waiting in a system for nothing, I guess you may have felt a need to object too

I think the whine whine comment was on the mark. Don't believe it states anywhere that the storyline has to include players if it's in the news.
Act out your threats of leaving if you're going to make them. Otherwise they are just as empty as all the rest in general discussion.
Found it funny that you waited for 4 hours in a system for no reason at all.

That's not what I said.
I was clarifying that it was not an Aurora-run event, so you shouldn't expect to see 'Polaris guys' heading somewhere to put it on.
I actually don't know what this was... it could have been a CCP event, or the roleplaying of a bug, or setup for a future development.
