65K rat dropped a photonic I cpu AND a H-50 arbalest in the same drop. 8 million dollar bonus for that mission, heh.

From two 'named' pirate kill missions Ive received implants in the pirate loot - one perception one memory. And no it wasnt Krull!

Killed a Blood Shadowsage(250k Battleship) on a "The Rogue Slave Trader" mission.
He was kind enougth to drop:
1600mm Reinfirced Rolled Tungsten Plate 1(+2240 Armour HP)
Megapulse Laser
Infrared L Crystal
.. and a few other nic nacs

Which factions give these special missions anyway? I've been running Thukker missions like crazy and those little Thukkers just give out the standard crap.

Most of these people are talking about Navy missions. Specifically Imperial Navy (Amarr). I think the hull expanders come from Duvolle or Roden. I know Duvolle was giving out harvesters every so often.
I've sorta hit and miss on the Imp Navy. I don't like shooting minmatar freedom fighters, so those missions get the finger.
Edit: I've gotten some nice 650mm Cannons and 250mm Rails from the Mercenary commander.

I got a "Type-D attenuation Signal Augmentation"
12% targetting
12% Scan Resolution
1.18 Targetting range Multiplier
Not sure if this is the best loot type but far better than anything i have seen or owned before.

I accidentally failed a transport 300 superconductors mission  and was forced to sell them on for 8 million, not bad for 200k collateral loss.

I've more than once been given a mission to transport 50 or so, Partial Hull Conversion interial dampers.
When i get a mission to shift 50 PHC cargo expanders, I might unaccountably be off form that day, and fail it.

Yeah. Do navy missions, you get a buncha low-level frigates. I'm adding them to my noob member donation hangar. I got 4 Navitas at once for some mission.

Man how n00b i am, i haven't done a single mission :P I think i'm gonna try a few, can you complete killing missions with a Thorax btw? Sounds pretty hard to kill a BS...

You should be able to do most killing missions in a Thorax, but if he throws you a BS mission, just show him tender middle finger or call me for backup

just be carefull if u run into the 65k guristas named Inferno's in something without a missile defence. they spam you with cruise missiles.
U need some tactics, but I have killed them with a vexor, with 2x mwd, a bunch of drones to take the missiles and 4 dual 150 mm protos.
But I normally prefer to take out the infernos with a BS. U don't need to worry about lag when hitting the mwd's to get out of range of the 8 cruise bearing down on your flimsy smokin' hull
