As all but the newest of you will know, back in April Rem was cut off by his parents and needed money to make rent. Considering the massive influence, leadership and time Remedial had devoted to our community; the directorate had no qualms of backing Remedial in asking you the general membership for donations. His rent secure, Remedial then opened the Goonstore. This offered goonswarm branded quality merchandise for his personal profit.
As these events were occurring, due to the pressures of a wedding and law finals, Remedial was finding it harder and harder to spend more time online and more and more the direction of the swarm was being decided and implemented by the directorship, led by Mittani. In May Remedial formally handed leadership over to Mittani, whilst retaining illuminati access.
Slightly before his official resignation, Remedial created a titanfund character on his account to collect donations so that the swarm might produce our own titan. It took many weeks, but 70billion was donated, a testament to the commitment of the individuals in goonswarm. Ten billion of this was removed before the fund was complete to purchase initial minerals.
Soon after, Remedial began to push for goonswarm to become a multi-game organization. With our strong organization and sense of community, this had been a move suggested by several directors in the past, but had previously been rejected by Remedial.
Remedial initially argued that he should be allowed to run the multi-mmo goonswarm, offering to return to expand goonswarm. The senior directors blocked this move. It was worried that, given Remedial had quit (publically) three times and (to illuminati) several additional times previously, his dedication to goonswarm players was in question, and the directorship did not feel they had the time or energy to assume leadership of multiple games the next time Remedial had to quit.
Additionally, his about-face on the multi-mmo concept so close to the substantial profits he had generated so quickly through the goonstore made it possible that his intentions were to expand the goonswarm brand as primarily a money making asset. Whilst this is a cynical and perhaps unworthy thought, it would be nanve to ignore the appeal of easy tens of thousands of dollars to anyone, let alone to a newlywed.
Illuminati became rife with drama, Remedial replied to these allegations that he was not interested in profits but in the well-being and the entertainment of the swarm. Seeking compromise and assurance their worries were unfounded, the senior directors offered Remedial an equal say in the future direction of the swarm, without requiring any actual participation from him. RemedialÆs charisma, drive and intuitions have always benefited and entertained goonswarm, and the directorate felt and will always feel somewhat in his debt and the idea of goonswarm branded merchandise is hardly in and of itself offensive or unwanted.
It was however insisted that an undertaking the size of a multi-mmo organization would entail a more diffuse leadership û for our organization, our commitment and most likely our sanity. Remedial replied:
Remedial is an emotional man, and we assumed that once his initial irritation has passed he would contact us again, perhaps to help the swarm in an active role, an advisory role or even just to hang out.

We were mistaken.
After making that message Remedial largely disappeared from the online world.
He has ignored PMs regarding the Titan fund, despite continuing to monitor the site and read other PMs.
He has not answered or returned phone calls from multiple directors, many of whom considered him a personal friend. Some of whom donated part of the $2800. He even ignored those who had attended his wedding.
He has changed his passwords.
This week, we were reliably informed that Remedial has no current intention to return our isk. He feels that the corp has been stolen from him, and we can only assume he no longer feels any commitment to us, and from his actions he clearly does not even want to speak with us.
Fearing the worst, we acted. We have regained possession of approximately half the titan fund isk. However we were too late to save everything, the other half had been transferred by Remedial to an unaligned alt account with a name implying that it was to be used for isk selling, presumably to protect the remedial account from any ccp retaliation.
This is a dark day for Goonfleet. For many of us, Remedial has been a trusted friend and an inspiring leader. We can only feel disappointed by him, and he rejected by us.
Despite this being one of the largest ôscamsö in the history of eve û and probably of online games as a whole, it has not come about through cleverness, manipulation of greed, or through social Tlan. It should not be praised. It happened through disillusionment, abuse of earned trust and the end of friendships. It is sad.
We ask that goons refrain from going internet detective or in any way interfering with Remedial. The damage is done, and thanks to your donations the damage is not critical. We have made enough isk through donations that we can continue with the titan project, however our projected completion date has been delayed by several weeks.
And now you know.
This was the big announcement.

to be quite frank, his leadership has been appauling, and is acting like a kid throwing a tanterum cause he isnt supream lord of goons anymore. Not only that he is a thief and fraudster, guess u lot inspirted him, huh?
