I counted over 10 bubbles at one point. So "few bubbles" , that claim is false.

Everybody desynced.
Wrong, killmail suggests that your carrier guys had their fighters in play whilst I didn't see a single one of them ever during the fight. Usually, as is evidenced by the various fraps of prior mom kills, etc, a sea of fighter\drones usually envelopes the target.
What you did was that you smartbombed my drones several times. I had to pull them back to remote rep. You sat at ca 69km from me so my remote rep couldnt reach that far.
Also you were moving away from us trying to get out of the bubble for very long time.

What sucked most was the fact I insured my ship expecting the enemy to have a big fleet standing by to support their solopwn-mobile.
Maybe this is a message to all alliances out there that motherships arent solopwn-mobiles that you should use without a sizable fleet?

hm, if everyone desynced then how did your op go off exactly as planned? a MoM that can't fight back, support fleets that cant get in to help shoot dictors, a complete turkey shoot thanks to ccp..
was this your plan shamis? I doubt it.
I spotted 10-20 pilots from MPIRE and FATAL joint gang jumping into local. They burnt outside the bubbles and warped off leaving the cap ship to fend for itself.

The first time we saw Ernest hanging around us I knew he was more than just some guys trying to be sneaky.
Do you think he would have been done for if he had control of the ship? Please give us a step by step of the encounter.
Wyvern warped to gate to gank something / our "bait". Dictors jumped in and put up bubble. More dictors arrive during the whole engagement. Our cyno ship came in and slowboated within 50km. Our capitalships jumped in.
Bwam.

That's called gangwarp. Your whole gang warped off roughly at the same time as I mentioned earlier when you jumped into LXW.

For my part, If we wouldnt have desynced, he would have died in about 1 to 2 mins max. Instead he was alive and kicking for at least 5-6 mins and therefore crawled off about 20 kms before he died. (had like 7-8 bubbles in his way though)
The desync made him live longer if anything.
You are mad. Look at the Helen Aeon killmail. You fleet had 4 dreads? PFFFF. I was in a helios the whole time. Switched to Dictor overview and counted 6 with 1 dictor wreck-so that makes 7. No way only 7 interdictors can keep the mothership there, ya know, if the game works. I know this is about EPEEN waving and all that, but you guys have to admit the kill is sort of tainted.
Maybe not prepatch. But post-patch dictors are way more usable vs ms/titans.

TO CCP: Even if your logs show nothing, the current desynchs do happen and should be addressed with maximum effort. This cannot be the quality that each customer expects for his/her monthly fee.
another very vaild point that CCP is not seeing for some reason.
I'm sure CCP is aware of the problem. They like to keep quiet when the game is totally broken though. I expect they'll admit that there is a big problem once they figure out how to fix it.
<derail>Get our forums working again Shamiz.. pwetty please. TS is down too :(</derail>

Still STK has lost 3 motherships and had a massive corp theft, funny how we are still a corp eh? Big love to all the STK haters.
Ander please for the love of god stop posting in "that" colour I keep trying to click it.
Noes I refuse to stop posting in this color!
But here's a link to my write-up of the whole engagement from my point of view: EVE Pirate

Originally by: Davlin Lotze Let's just put this in bullet form to save on space and hopefully clear up some of the factless statements coming from some in this thread:
1) I was in a gang doing local defense(not soloing) as one might expect any alliance member in any alliance that wishes to at least try and defend their space at any hour of the day. Just minutes before you were in another system actively ganking people. Going back and forth between gates. You continued doing this in LXW between warping to POS and cloaking.
2) I was unable to launch any drones at all. This was before and after local ballooned in count. Your drones were out, you got on killmail on a battleship kill. Several PL pilots report your drones attacking them. But you also ran your smartbombs which pretty much might've killed your own drones. At least they were damaging my fighters.
3) I never saw a single hostile fighter or drone on my display during the entire encounter. Then maybe you should've relogged.
4) I noted extremely poor tactics on the part of the hostile dictor force. They were orbitting about at 15km in a very nonchalant fashion. Had I been able to deploy drones, 1/2 to 3/4th of them would have been dead within 90 seconds to 2 minutes. TBH, BE have a much better command of their dictor tactics than what I saw from the hostiles last night. If you were desynced how could you see enemy movement and "random patterns"? Usually when you desync any hostile ship keeps moving off in the direction you last spotted them going.
5) I've survived three to four desynchs before. Never had I ever been without the ability to deploy drones and defend myself. Something else was going on with the node\TQ last night. I was able to deploy drones just fine and spotted yours aswell. If you were desynced you should've done a quick relog to try and fix the problem.
6) What saved snigg et al was their willingness to log out in combat and log back in to save their objective from failing. I never log in combat. I guess that's one difference between attackers and myself. Perhaps CCP can send some signals whether premeditated logging in and out from combat is acceptable or not. I think it shows weak character but I'm old and very old fashioned in that way :) So you're saying that "logging" is the same as "relogging" and that is "weak"? The tools were there to save your ship if you had been desynced. Relogging is the defacto technique to clear desync issues. You were in a big ship and you should have had plenty of time to relog. If you were desynced and didn't relog then you can only blame yourself for not giving you that chance.
Some things doesnt match up to whatyou've said in previous bullets. You saw the dictors moving about. But not drones or fighters, how was your overview setup? Was PL red to you and you simply mistook fleet support for the drones? We had a massive amount of support and at times in that large encounter myself wasn't too sure what was green-drones and friendlies.

2) You made your choice...you logged to avoid a loss. I didn't log because in my three years in Eve honorable pilots never log, regardless.
3) Smart bombs were carefully cycled and turned off prior to repeated attempts to deploy drones. No drones left my ship during the entire encounter because the counters in my overview remained unchanged. I still had the same number of heavy\light\med drones right before I popped than I did at the start.
4) You were able to deploy drones\fighters because you are a logger. Just a fact dude. You choose to log from combat to avoid a loss.

Yes, truely ethical eve players all sit there and look at their frozen screen when they fight.
Whatever the servers deal out, you take it. Or you log. I guess we know who chose what course of action.
So you're saying that if a guy jumps into a system and he's blackscreened he should simply have "stayed logged in" cause that's the honourable thing to do? Or if a person undocks from a station and gets blackholed he should stay logged in?
I got blackholed when I jumped into the system with my capitalship, should I not have relogged to clear the client blackscreen?
Additionally, FYI: the dishonourable logouts is generally considered (by consensus) people who log their ship to get insta-warpout. To get out of bubble camps without getting aggroed etc.

Originally by: Akov Stohs Just a note, a support fleet did show up, well with in time to make a difference. Not saying that we would of saved the mom, but I am willing to say at least there would of been a fight. You probably would of lost most/all of your dictors, but because of the desync the mom would probably never made it out even if we did clear all of the dictors off. *shrug* Yall got an near effortless kill because of the servers. It was a good trap but far from full proof.
Your support fleet showed up when the mothership was already way past half armor. Most of your guys were still by the station according to our intel during most of the fight. It wasn't until at the end when you jumped in with a couple of cruiser-sized ships. Warning, speculation based on numbers: Though your gang would probably not have been able to take out 10 dictors before being popped by the sizable support fleet of ours had you jumped into the fight earlier.
