Wow. Trollathon.
I've flown with davlin in IO. I must say, he's pretty good with protecting the Wyvern. He's been flying it on the frontlines for quite some time and has never been afraid of engaging anyone. I find it hard to believe that he would go down so 'easily' to the group. I've also never known him to lie about anything. He may embellish the story a little for effect, but a liar he is not.
I hope somehow you get the mom back, but if you don't, it was a heck of a run.

These two things don't go together post rev 2 patch.
If you're not going to use it, why bother building it?

Ok, so he embellished the truth a little, but he did not go down "easy". There was **** loads of capitals on him. No MS can tank that crowd. The guy fought back as well as anyone could, he even managed to get some kills as he died.

I wasn't there. I don't know. If there was a clearer picture painted, maybe I could make a better statement. But afaik (from my personal experience flying with the guy), his loss sounds kind of lame. I'm not saying that to try and take anything away from the effort put in to get the kill... it's just anti-climactic to hear.

What's unfortunate about all this desyncing is that its basically going to relegate motherships to sit at POSs delegating fighters.
People should be rewarded for risking their expensive ships, not desynced at the start of a battle.
If CCP doesn't deal with this soon there aren't going to be many alliances left to take part in any battles at all.
sure there will, but they'll be flying t1 frigs/ibii
