I'm entirely happy with that assessment cupcakes. The thing the PvP pirates tend to forget is that there is more than one measure of accomplishment. For example. I'm sure mr Viceroy likes to hang out around the pirate bars boasting at how I have never matched him for in-game deeds.
Well, try this for size. Before we joined the VA I used to move 300m isk of plut past Space Invader blockades vitually every night.
Viceroy often tried but never did catch me on that run.
So in terns of who proved what to whom. I guess I proved courage in the face of pirate threat, cunning in the ways of making a profit in hostile space, and persistence in pressing the route to its limits.
And what did mr Viceroy prove?
Well I guess he proved that its not that easy to kill a bestower in 0.0 with a warship. But lets get one thing straight, we have been fighting on opposite sides of the street for a helluva long time, but he has never yet showed he is good enough to stop me running plut.
So pirate chappies, lets not forget that there are more ways than pure pvp to prove one's "worth" and knowledge of the game.
I have as much respect for clever industialists, charming traders, wheeler-dealers and misc businessmen as I do for pvp freaks. It takes all sorts and truly, if you want to be respected you must respect other people.
The "if you don't pvp you mean nothing" camp have existed on hotair for a long time now.
And lets not forget what winning means in this context:
Its a blend of achieving your personal objectives, maintaining your interest, making a reputation, and bringing a little something to the environment.
Pirates often tell me they are bored stupid of Eve. Almost makes you wonder if they are missing the point?

Making the game interesting is the ONLY thing that really matters.
Doing the same thing day after day just rots your brain. Anyone doing this needs their head looked at
PvP a bit, NPC hunt a bit, do missions, try trading, heck even mine once in a while.....but at least mix it up a bit or the ole grey stuff will ooze out your ears in no time.
Now take this and stick in an unusual RP twist and you get a game that is fun
Sounds like JF have it just about right ============================================== "Trust no man who says to you that 'The ends justify the means' or who says that 'We will do whatever it takes...'. These men have no honour, and are fit only to be politicians."

Jade you prolly moveed plut by abusing insta jump bookmarks, well done have a cookie.
People dont just respect pvpers, people respect anyone who achieves anything. I for one respected both TTi and Techell for their huge economic acheivements without pvp.
You have achieved nothing except inspiring a great deal of hate for yourself in a great number of people.

Well here is the thing Stavros. I moved plut without the use of insta-jump bookmarks or mwd, and entirely using my main. But your view of other people is too narrow-minded to accept that other people take risks and accomplish things of note.
Whereas. You have built a reputation and level of hatred for one character. Which you hide from using your industrial alt.
I play in game continually with Jade and accept the consequences of everything I do.
Whereas you play the pirate when it suits you. Only to switch to the anonymous money-making alt when it suits you.
In my book Stavros that makes you something of coward, because you hide from the consequences of your actions.
Perhaps that might explain why I don't respect you very much.

anyone who isn't a noob knows who builder is.
and tbh, id rather have an alt that is sod all use at pvp and remains quite in the game, due to having no effect and no respect from anyone, than a main character like yours.
its ok, i forgive u for being crap. --

I do still think you are a bit of coward though Stavros. I just don't like the big bad ganking pirates making isk on the side with a quiet little alt. Sure it works and is a valid scam, but its just a little snakey for my taste. I prefer to live and die on my rep.
I'm sure you understand.

there is nothing sneaky about it.
many people lead double lives, i am merely roleplaying a man with two identities, someone with my connectinos and funding would have no problem briding the relevant agencies to aquire such an arrangement.
if you would like to live and die on your rep, you really should end yourself alot, your rep REALLY is that bad. --

Funnily enough I don't actually care what your little clique think Stavros. You really aren't that significant.
And make all the excuses you want for your yellow streak of alt-dom, really, I think we all understand that its a way of hiding from your main's rep.
Hiding Stavros ... thats the point.

tbh what am i hiding from? worried about people trying to kill me? worried about gaining MORE enemies? yeah cos im just loved by all i am.

Oh dear, you sound a bit flustered Stavros. Have you reached the end of your simulation of conversational logic?
And of course, while we all know the name of one of your sneaky little alts ... there is another, and other accounts, and the vast criminal empire beyond.
Didn't you once boast that mOo was nothing but a visible front corp-tip-of-the-iceburg?
There is nothing wrong with being a sneaking little filch Stavros, in context, but lets not pretend you have any actual courage.

I only ever use builder and stavros, non of my other alts are ever used, they are just placeholders really to reserve the names incase I ever need them.
TBH builder is prolly better known and more influential in the game than any of your main characters.
Also I fail to see how I am being sneaky or hiding when anyone and everyone knows who I am and usually where to find me within a few systems. Would you care to explain? pls use only 30 words maxiumum and u are not allowed to use dictionary.com as im drunk and cba to read another of your quite frankly obesely bloated posts. --

Keep your assessment Stavros, that alongside the knowledge of your little mutual support clique must sustain you in the absense of logic, name, or consistant debate.
Would if be fair to condense the whole of your past series of posts to a single drunken ...

Jade, I know nothing about except she writes damned good speeches. Though in the end my expeirence with Stav kinda makes me believe him more.

Nothing surprising there Sequin, nor would i blame you for your opinion. Its all entirely down to subjective personal experience. Hence I really know nothing about stavros but his forum antics and alt use, and "quitting" posts after getting "owned" by his enemies.
Not much of a surprise that I've had no opportunity to reprise my opinions of him from an essentially windy forum troll with an over-inflated sense of self-importance.
I don't "hate" him. As he professes to "hate" me. To let that happen would be to give him a little power. And I'm surprised he makes the submission of personal esteem to me that such "hating" requires.
Ah well, worse things happen at sea!

Its astonishing how dangerous the Jericho movement is perceived, the arrogance of set minds I find distasteful. Why does the negative anti-JF rhetoric leave you feeling disappointed with our bad guys.
i would say this
Stop attacking someoneÆs ethic and start creating your own, then maybe we can develop a poignant nemesis out of you. Just aimless drivel is not interesting and not going to generate any thought provoking response.

Ok Jade, you ran plut from venal when we were all in blackbirds. Have a cookie, that justifies all your 374872 posts about great individualist anti-paradigmal alliances in 0.0 non-empire space.
Not to mention that I never do remember you running our blockades or anything.
But lets say that you did, wow thats really an accomplishment!
Guess what, we came across ten blockade runners in bestowers every hour. They all used to do exactly what you did.
Can you see them posting pages of crap on the forums about non-existant political movements that have no base ingame?
Can you see them trying to justify their TOTALLY fictional approach to the game with the fact that they ran a few SPVD blockades months ago?
And Stavros is right, you're trying to paint the picture as if we're only focusing on PvP and labeling you as a fictional crap-writer because you dont PvP.
Thats not the case. Just as Stavros said, I have great respect for Techell and TTI. They dont PvP, they hardly have any pvp experience, but they MEAN something ingame. They held the reigns of ingame economics for ages, and made a fortune. Thats something to respect.
An agent runner that sits in empire space, bragging about how he ran a pirate blockade a few months ago to justify all his fictional posts about non-existant ingame entities?
Thats not something to respect. Thats something to laugh at.
Dont make it look like we're just hardcore pvpers Jade, we respect all kinds of power, as long as it has some kind of effect ingame. We respect RP, aslong as it does what it claims ingame. And if its just candy RP, for reading amusement, we respect it aslong as it doesnt claim to have effect ingame.
You are none of those, you are a sad little agent runner that is trying to base his huge fictional "political" effort on a few blockade runs ages ago, in some system in the ass end of nowhere.
You're just an entertainer Jade, people read your posts for fun and amusement. Once you were taken seriously, but now only the noobs think you're anything near what you paint yourself to be. Everyone else knows that your whole "RP Approach" and "Political Movement" exists only in your own fantasy world.
Do something that even relativly counterbalances your fictional effort on the forums, not pvp, as that isnt your strong point. Just justify your 39725 page posts with something more than a few ancient blockade runs and the loss of some ships.
PS.
Yes, that was a very brutal assesment. Unfortunatly, I have 10 times more enemies than you, so I doubt I'll be envying your reputation just for the "sexual" Gallente roleplay and your hundreds of fictional forum posts. Get over yourself -

To those who can still keep a degree of 3rd party objectionality... Don't let the fact that Stavros, Indiqo Seqi, Viceroy etc. are Player Pirates ruin what they have to say. They are normal people just like you and I. They are not 12 year old pre-pubescent pubes.
I won't express my opinions on the situation direclty.. but I will say that the reason I won't is because I have not logged every event that has ever taken place in the game, in order to substantiate what I have to say and rebut those sharp rhetorts that can come about.
But I will say that Jade is a pedant.

Eww, 'tis thread still going? Slow weekend i guess... :s
"Just as Stavros said, I have great respect for Techell and TTI. They dont PvP, they hardly have any pvp experience, but they MEAN something ingame. They held the reigns of ingame economics for ages, and made a fortune. Thats something to respect. (..)

And if its just candy RP, for reading amusement, we respect it aslong as it doesnt claim to have effect ingame."
... There's one problem with that statement as far as i can see. How do you tell if something is a power that you should --according to yourself-- respect, if the power in question chooses to keep you ignorant about their influence?
Not all powers are the in your face, 'omg me so l337 ph34r j00 nub' type or the "Look, we are BIG!" kind. I suspect quite a lot of those who matter don't think you're important enough to inform you about the size of their wallets, or the in-game actions. Given that, all that climbing on the pedestal of authority you're doing here, and finger-waving to divide those who matter from those who don't... it's pretty silly. ;s
re: Jade and if she matters anything in game. I dunno; but i recall discussions in the recent threads surrounding the collapse of NVA, how one of the problems was, quite a few significant members were included in the late alliance solely on her --supposedly non-existing-- authority, because she invited them to join.
So, influencing the geopolitical map of Eve on one hand... and 'no reason to respect, no in-game influence whatsoever' on the other. How does that compute for you, exactly..?

It's not a matter of fact, so sorry you're wrong there. By the way, to call one a "coward" in a game is irrelevant. It is the context that matters.
Anyway, nice written posts, I'm looking forward to more of those, especially those that are bout your rp, honest.
