To be honest the idea of a Videoshow about EVE is good, but is anyone even paying by setting up a real account or does everyone abuse the possibillity to create a new account each week using a new free eMail adress?
I don't know how the statistics are, but I'd seriously consider getting either sponsors or doing a commercial break in the show, with REAL corporations advertising, instead of letting us pay directly.
I for one sure won't pay regulary; I probably won't even create new eMail-adresses each week just for a show which doesn't tell me anything I don't already know.
The only reason I'd pay would be that EVETV gave me information I can profit from, like financial related news IRL.
Looks alot like a rant, tho I only wanted to know if anyone seriously pays for it.

I signed up for an account, and TBH, if you'd seen the amount of effort that goes into each episode, you would too.

Why are so many folks out there so terrified by the thought having to pay for a good service for your hobby?
For example: I know some people who play golf. They sped few thousand euro a year for the equipement, lessons etc.
I mean, you spend more money for one fast food meal than you would pay to watch EVE-TV for the whole month.
One movie at the cinema. Or one kebap with a drink.
EVE-TV is fun, and it cost almost nothing, and everyone who enjoys it will be willing to pay for it, so it can get better and even more fun.
Who thinks that its bad and unnecessary won't watch and pay it.
I like it, and I think that it's an enrichment for the EVE community, and I will pay for it.
So stop acting like the EVE TV makers want to rob you and enjoy the show or let it be if you don't like it.

I will pay for it even when I don't have an eve subscription just so I can keep up to date :P
