Actually, most respectable pvpers leave tracks on various killboards. Whether it is your own killboard, or it is your enemies' killboards, where they have lost ships to you.
I think a google search with a character name and "killboard" in the same query, shows quite well how active/good someone is. Or whether they are posting with their mains.
But yeah, you guys gotta be pretty bitter to flame one of the few people who actually posted on topic in this thread. Especially with noobalts, like Murehz and others here.
I'm not going to bother with the noobalts anymore tbh. Every time one of you posts about credibility, I'll just post "yeah, and my main has 100 titans and 20 motherships".
Either way, any mature people will clearly see who the "*****s" here are in this thread, and who is trying to give useful info.

I think the only problem most people have with you ryysa is that you're just so abrasive... yes I know you'll have a nice stinging response to this but that's not important... you just **** people off, no one cares wether you PVP well... at least I don't EVE Acronym Guide |

I'd Say the Huginn just because it does something no other ship (besides rapier) can.
Between the vaga and huginn, the vaga does more damage and is a little faster, but the huginn has bigger alpha-strike and is usualy better at escaping from bad situations. A vaga can be killed by anything that can catch it (like a faster vaga), but a Huginn when faced with a faster enemy will simply web it, this makes the huginn extremely survivable. The only time a vaga will survive when a huginn doesnt is when the fast-tacklers out number your webs

Have you seen the number of "unknown"'s on killboards?
Even if you don't care what people think about you, and tbh I odn't care what you think about me either, you could at least take a more down to earth tone with people. I could picture you talking to god and still automatically trying to sound like your better than him.
n topic I prefer huginn because it gives you more control in a fight which is something I like.

And many people also failed to metion that the Huginn has flappy chin wings! The vaga doesn't. - Michael Schumacher won many a formula one race. Alot of the time he didn't win because he had a better car...he won because HE WAS A BETTER DRIVER and because he used SUPERIOR TACTICS. |

My shiney new Huginn now sits in Ammamake with your ac/mssiles/2 ext/2 web setup awaiting it's first kill!! I've waited a long time for this ship so can't wait to get out there and kick some ass!
Had to use 2 Aux Thrusters and 2xnano/1OD instead of the mass rigs and 3xOD2 cos i'm cheap!!! Still a bit slow at 3km/s though! but i will fly her like a stabber with 2 webs!! I assume it's win! - Michael Schumacher won many a formula one race. Would think Ryysa has those 5 (solo) kills required for 'Ace' status.
For demi-god status one has to be capable of altering the laws of physic (like spawning BPOs out of nothing).
Anyway, although Ryysa gets easily sidetracked on useless angry insults, he at least 1) knows what he is doing AND 2) shares his ideas here. Too many folks just opt for XOR instead.

that allso depends on the pilot.. if u fly a huginn and know u are going to be primery, fit it to survive and hae the enemys waist time trying to kill u atleast thats my favorite... and for solo I would take huginn 95% over vaga... the 5% or so more dps wont be to mutch help anyway

My huginn got 249 kills (including pods and crap like that ofc) before finaly popping so I beg to differ.
And all it took is simply clicking on the wrong planet to warpoff for losing it yesterday
If you plan on staying still and try to tank the damage then yes, you'll die a lot.

Originally by: Drek Grapper Nice mate...(not the loss ). AC's and t2 extenders, or Arties and damps?
I always fitted it for gang warfare so it was: 3hvy launchers, 2x650s, 1 salvager . SSmwd (they were cheap once), sensorbooster (proved to be a must over just 1 damp), 2xfleeting webs, 1x28km scrambler (that was the most important item tbh) and 1x LSE 1xnano, 2xinertia stabs Most of the stuff were named t1 due to grid issues.
I had 2xspeed rigs fitted (since they were changed from the +15% to mwd ones after a patch), which would be replaced for -15% to mass rigs if wanted and had isk to spare.
Logic behind the above setup is group warfare, hence the need for sensorbooster (gotta catch those vagas/ceptors fast ) I would fit a completely different setup if I were to fly it solo, very similar to rysas prefered setup.

You can fit dual LSE's on a huginn and have a tank comparable to a vagabond, not quite the same resits but still decent. I'd call a vagabond primary before a huginn anyday, and for survivability they are both masters at dictating range in their own ways.
Their role in small ganksquads is even the same, instantly kill any and all small tacklers in an enemy gang then hit up the primary. The huginn doesn't get the same DPS, but against tacklers I find a webbed inty with it's MWD still running dies to heavy missiles in an instant.

Edited by: Zhulik on 11/07/2007 22:11:46 A good thing to remember while flying a hug is that when you get jammed/dampened all those things you had webbed become very unwebbed and can sometimes cause severe discomfort ranging from scratched paint to 'splosions.
Seems like a painfully obvious advise, but it is rather uncanny how often some people tend to forget it.
And more on topic, I'd say that the hug has a higher "warpthehellouttahereness" rating than the vaga does, due to its ability to effectively stop things that would normally prevent you from enacting glorious tactical retreat, while still having a half-decent speed of 2.5km/s or so with nonfaction fit and satisfying navigation skills.
