This has come to the point of rediculousness.
The main issue is isk spammers, they are becoming more and more irritating. They know they are getting blocked and banned quickly now so they spam their message over and over and over, filling up the screen.
CCP, for goodness sake, dont allow trial accounts into trade channels. This is SIMPLE and would almost entirely eliminate this problem. Just do it.
The second and far less important problem are the idiots who spam all of their stuff in all of the channels. A bit of ISD or something in there would be good. Having the mods channel half filled with ships and blueprints just makes it a pain in the arse to actually find anything. 1 warning followed by a month long ban would sort this situation out very quickly.

While a flagging system of some kind would be fantastic in fighting against ISK sellers, I think it could cause more problems that it would solve: Alliances flagging high-risk characters with falsified information. It would just be even more load for the already over-loaded CCP personnel.
Access levels for chat rooms is definitely a good idea, and is hopefully something we will see in future updates of CCPs beloved grand Revelation. Perhaps channels, split into groups. Those that wish to trade to trial characters may, but only in the confines of the Trial rooms. Again, this may create more problems: ISK sellers targeting new players, players who may be more likely to be enticed by the allure of easy ISK; an instant booster to any character.

banning trial accounts from the trade channels is a great idea and I can't see why that would be real difficult to make happen.
your second problem though ....... I still miss the original trade channel and miss the atmosphere created by lots of people sellings their wares. It was a lot more fun and felt like an actual marketplace instead of the sterile atmosphere that exists in the trade channels today. |

/signed in regards to banning trial accounts from trade channels. New players can survive 2 weeks without trade channels, and it will save alot of grief. -

Not that the OP doesn't have a valid point, but what's stopping the trading community from simply creating a new chat channel for their purposes, and blocking all NPC corps from it?

The same reason that prevents everyone in Jita from moving to another system to do their trading.
