I'm a carebear.

I'll freely admit that. My few ventures out into low sec (just even 0.4) all ended in firey tragedy. Not a whole to be said about that, but hey, that's how the game works.

I have a few questions though, honest questions that I want the low sec dwellers to answer.

I see a lot of threads or comments from low sec people saying that they wish carebears would come out to low sec. They go off to say it's higher rewards, more fun, and come up with numerous reasons why we should go out there, and even suggest or discuss possible changes to the game, designed for the sole purpose of pushing carebears out to low sec voluntarily or otherwise. What happens next is that they turn around and *immediately* slaugher all the carebears who decide to make the pilgramage out there, or propose ideas (such as the thread to remove local channel), to make low sec even less appealling than it already is.

I see a lot of carebear bashing and hate talk regarding our mission running and our medium-to-low-risk behaviors. I have to ask, why is that? In my game experience, I have never done anything to upset you. I never speak to you (low sec dwellers) in game, I never insult or taunt you, I have never blown up your ships or assaulted "your" territory, I am never physically near you. Your interstellar conflicts are beyond my notice. Your system spanning Empires do not impact me. I am no involved in your wars. I cannot and do no cheat or betray your corporation. I don't steal from you.

I never interact with you.

And yet I, and many other carebears like me, have somehow scorned you. We are the focus of hate, insults, and constant ideas to push us out of high security and into your world, seemingly whether we want to or not.

I can't speak for ALL carebears, but I can speak for myself. I mine. I buy, I sell, I use the market. I rat in asteroids. I take out rogue drones. I run missions both courier and combat. I mind my own buisness and I do my own thing. Where, in that equation, have I wronged you?

I have several questions. Again, I am not whining I am stating what I have seen and asking why it is.
Question 1 If you 0.0 people want carebears to come out there so badly, why do you intentionally do and propose things to push them away?
Question 2) What is it that carebears have done to anger you so?

I'd like to know the answers to these question. I think that underneath this is a very simple reason behind the hate. I have a few guesses at what it could be, but I want to hear from your mouth.
