thanks for everyone involved, especially princeps corp was lots fun and mostly smack free fight we lost a dread though, but someone had to since there were soo many capitals
if someone wants to write something like a report or post possible fraps, would be very nice

No only carriers are "allowed" to dock, undock, dock, undock repeatedly in infinitum in such fights, dreads cant. So love the "balance" in this game.

Wasn't the FC but suppose I could give a little report as I was one of the carriers involved in the fight.
Initial Numbers:
Mordus Angels
3 Dreads 2 Carriers Support (approx 15-20)
YouWhat
4 or 5 Carriers (at begining of fight) 7 total used by the end with one docked in station due to 10-15% structure.
Support (approx 10-15 in local though not sure how much was active)
Youwhat re-inforcements approx 40 arrived right at end of the engagement.
Story that Youwhat agressed one of our dreads outside the station we undocked our remaining capitals/jumped in our support warped in to optimal/undocked and teh engagement started.
The first engagement could probably be spread into 3 segments we had an initial engagement where after approx 10mins we held the field and had forced one carrier docked in approx 40% armor at this point I would say in terms of Capitals we were holding the field as the damage being brought to bear in terms of actually being able to break the tank on teh capitals present however I would say support wise we were probably not doing so well. YouWhat pulled there carrier back into the station and we cleared the field of wrecks. One thing that both sides suffered from and both commented on in local was pretty much horrible lag (considering the size of the engagement) and a few were also experienceing d-sync one funny point is that one of our dreads had to re-log due to this while in seige and on relog according to his overview he was now 100km from the station which was erm interesting to say the least.
Segment two was fairly similar to the first with the difference that by this point I believe YouWhat may have been up to there full compliment of carriers by this point and they had some fast support that was tearing up some of our slower support. Main difference with engagement two is that we managed to get one of the Youwhat carrier down to maybe 10-15% structure unfortunately at this point he docked and being honest he was so close I thought that we had managed to kill him but then noticed the lack of a pod and realised he had de-agressed long enough to dock in station.
Segment three was pretty much a rinse repeat of the first two we would call primary on a carrier they would deagress and dock then undock at this point we got information that there was a YouWhat support fleet on the way numbering 40-60 (didn't know exact numbers until they came in sys) we were put on a countdown and the dreads were told not to go back into siege we got a short grace period when YouWhat docked again and we asked small faster ships to loot the field and for all capitals to dock up.
At this stage one of our dread pilots said his dock command wasn't working even though he was in dock range of the station he was instructed to log out and log back in as that most times seems to solve these sorts of issues however when he came back in he was now out of dock range by aprox 18km. By this point most of the other Capital pilots had docked and what was left of our support was mostly docked to so unfortunately Youwhat managed to get scrambler on him and keep him in place we got what remained of the support out once we realise what happened to try clear the scramble but that was pretty much a leeerooy attempt as shortly after this the YouWhat support fleet jumped into system with sniping b/ships plus multiple dictors and smaller ships and pretty much locked down the revelation until with the combination remaining carrier undocked (6) plus support numbering approx 50-60 by this point.
Overview:
YouWhat held the field and downed a dread it could be argued if the game was working properly whethere the dread would have been 18k of the station to be killed in the first place but that is speculation Kudos goes to YouWhat I suppose in terms of knowing the dock/undock game they used that ability to the maximum to ensure that no carriers were lost (even if one was a close call).

On a personal note I suppose it is interesting that 5zxx ended up with over 100 people by the end of the engagement I suppose a testament to the mentality that pervades the game i.e. you bring 1 we bring 2 and that we were at the end outnumbered 3 - 1 but hohum thats the way fleet engagements are these days .
GF to those YouWhat that were involved (mainly Princeps) and btw who do I send the bill for the 3 fighter of mine that you killed .
Any inaccuraces in above number I apologise for but with trying to micro manage my fighters and just the general chaoticness of the situation it's the best account I can give.

first of all, good fight, it was nice to see u can fight.
about numbers .... MOA: 4 capitals + 21 support (some of them docking and getting new ships) Princeps: 4 capital + 3 support ( 5 capitals + 6 support at the end of the fight)
At first engage, it was unplayable, too many lag, we decided to dock, we couldnt target anything and some of us even couldnt be able to refresh the overview.
The rest of the fight was nearly out of lag, it was a long and nice fight, no smacktalk and tones of shots from both sides.
At the end, happened what always happens, if the job isnt finished at time, one side gets larger support.
btw: about the dread 18k from station, .... i think he warpped to station when one dictor bubble was on, after that he was scramble and web by our support.
good fight.

Just to correct myself 6 capitals not 7 as I did realise that Dival had docked then undocked again.

that was for me the best fight for a verry long time.
neighter side gave up and kept on fighting. the fight lasted over a hour with the small breaks where mordus angels were dominateing the outside of the station. i respect it verry much that both sides kept on fighting. verry honerable. it was a great fight.

Sell dread, buy carrier ?
But I agree it's quite broken, same with logistic cruisers, it gets hilarious. Maybe get some rzr guys to teach you the lost art of nanos. -------- I tanked D2 capital fleet and all I got was truncated Erebus mail.

They petitioned the Dreadnought loss, hence why they have not posted it yet I believe. 2 nights ago they also lost a Archon class carrier to us (Frontline.). Both kills can be found on our Frontline. Griefwatch killboard.

That second was me and it is posted on both the MOA killboard as well as the Frontline one (I may even have beat the frontline guys in posting it :P) and as he said the dread kill will be posted if the petition is rejected I have heard no word on that as it is not my corp that lost it.
You will forgive me I think for not posting the shuttle/pod loss I recieved after the carrier when I asked if you would let me undock to view the wreck and one or two of your guys got to trigger happy .
