Readers and fans:
The fight that began an epic struggle against tyranny can be found in its original form at this link. There are quite a few war updates in it, up to the last page, but this minor dispute has changed in scale. The bounty on Dodiez is still unclaimed, and I think there is a counter-bounty on me that one of her champions have put out, but I'm not sure.
The last several weeks have been an ongoing series of running battles, bounties, assassination and murder attempts, threats, theft, mercenary intervention, jump clone sabotaging, taunting, smack-talking, more theft, and planning. This struggle is a landmark fight in the battle for primacy between men and women.
That is to say, a man's right to lay claim to orange soda, and the woman's right to steal it.
I take you, mercenary or pirate that you might be, to the scene last night, where a devious plot was unfolding...
Burger King, 2200 local, Friday night. Despite having watched Transformers the previous week, Dodiez and I were in such awe over the movie that we had plans to see it again. After several of my dinner suggestions, which ranged from me making dinner, to leftovers, to a restaurant, to anything at all, Dodiez' indecisiveness won the day, and I screeched the tires of my Sypder convertible to swing sharply into the parking lot of Burger King to end the dinner debate. Burger King has orange soda in its soda fountain, and both Dodiez and I were going to drink it for dinner.
As soon as her back was turned, my cunning trap unfolded! I filled her cup with ice and sprite, topping it with just enough orange soda to color it orange, so that I might deny her that tangy goodness that she had previously stolen from me. I, of course, took great pleasure in enjoying my 100% orange soda. My meal was doubly and triply enhanced in pleasure at the consternation on her face as she vainly tried to derive pleasure from this unfulfilling substitute - she didn't note that her "orange soda" tasted different.
As our meal drew to its conclusion, I couldn't contain my grin. When she inquired what the evil smile was for, I placed our drinks side by side and let her taste them both, and chuckled merrily as her eyes grew wide in shock and horror as realization dawned upon her of the violation I had imposed on her drink.
Readers...if you too are suffering because the woman in your house steals your orange soda (given that this is Eve, who the constituency in Crime and Punishment is, and how many of you are 13-23 year olds with massive internet egos and a girlfriend named Palmela Handerson)..that mightnot be many of you...but if you DO exist, I urge you to FIGHT for your right to claim dominance over such a precious commodity.
Accounts may be shared, beds and showers, but the orange soda is sacrosanct. Fight!

Curzon...I would love to take the bounty...but as I am currently in the middle east without a proper connection to EvE...I cannot commit the final acts of assassination.
I have of course asked some of my comrades to help for they too have felt the shame and anger of having their orange and other sodas taken by their female counterparts.
Women...we love you in many ways.....but taking soda is the last straw....no pun intended

I went to work today after having read this last night and decided I wanted an orange soda myself from the vending machine. However, the vending machine was sold out. So i went to the 2nd floor AND 3rd floor vending machines. They were also both sold out. I believe that this was done with malicious intent by the women at my work having heard of this soda war. But I don't blame Dodiez, I'm blaming Curzon for this! That's right! Your attempt to stand up to the women has caused them to remove all orange soda from the hands of men everywhere! You have destroyed any man's hope of ever seeing this wonderful delicious soda ever again!

Orange soda's siren call is like nothing else. However, I must admit that it's refreshing orangey tangy goodness is MORE refreshing orangey and tangy because it belongs to someone else.

Sounds like Sprite/7-up/etc to me, they have already rated it as second class to Orange in the original post.
As for me, I put my vote for Cream Soda. Being a Canuck, we get it in a different falvor than much of the rest of the world.
