I screwed up. I screwed up bad.
I made a deal with someone to trade some stuff for a GTC at an undefined time in the future. Unfortunately, I did this the dumb, cheap way.
My only proof of the deal is a few chatlogs, not even a contract since I direct traded the stuff. . .  . And I know ISD isn't too hot on using chatlogs for proof of anything, as they're plaintext, editable by anyone with notepad. . .
The sleazy jacka. . . err. . . party of the second part, of course, bailed.
Anything I can do except eat it or get a gang together and pod his ass  ?

If it''s on a chatlog, the GMs can find it. Only thig is, you wont get your ISK back but the scammer will be banned.

From the rules sticky in the Character and Timecode bazaar forum:
Any other forms of GTC trades are no longer supported by CCP.
So they may stick to that.

iirc Kirex is correct.
CCP may no longer support GTC trades not done in the Secure way,however-GTC scamming is still a bannable offense.
There was a guy doing it quite openly in Jita...He was so sure he was safe...
Dissapeared pretty quick :D

dude jjust petetion, THE Guy who scammed you will get a BAN 4 ever and his alt too. You just wont get a reffund. If you refer to the exact dat and wallet transaction its fine. No need for logs or other **** they will find out easily.

I thought they made a secure way of trading GTC....If you did not use
it or traded your stuff before receiving the GTC.
Then i say you deserved to get scammed and tough, i don't think
CCP will do anything about it.They implemented a safe way for a reason.
