Axe is running its very own Texas Hold'em tables.
I have decided to open up one table for the public to use.
Join Axe Hold'em ingame channel for more info.

Games Going On Today -
All day 28mil Buy In Games... As I get 9 people wanting to play, I collect the isk, put them on a table. At end of game payouts get paid. 1st - 125m / 2nd - 60m / 3rd 40m.
Major Opening Event -
At 2300 Tonight we will be running a 105mil Buy In Tourney (only 9 people).
Payouts will be - 500mil Isk / 250mil Isk / 150mil Isk.
To get in this tourney first 9 people to send me isk get in. I will be taking one backup as well. If you don't make the time and there is not a backup, you lose your isk and seat.

Could you give us some idea of how this will work?
Is there a poker client we have to download, or is it web-based, or what?

There is a client you ahve to download. Its a public client, so nothing that we could hack or anything. We bought the server package so all you have to do is download the free client.
We play tables of 9, once we have enough people for a game, one of the moderators collect the isk, and puts in pw to start the game. Once game is over we do payouts.
So far its going better than expected, pretty much running non stop 1 games, sometimes 2.
Yesterday the last 2 people in the 100m tourney decided to split the pot even so they were both winners.
We also have a TS server up so you can talk with those you are playing against, not required but its there to use.

From the numbers given, 27 mill (or less than one buy-in) for the small game, 45 mill (or less than half of one buy-in) for the large game.
