What exactly do I have to put under the server info on the client under the Start tab to log on? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience our piracy may have caused you, but, we are pirates and, sadly, this is our way." |

Okies; everything is up and working.
You guys should modify the info on the channel heading; the port is incorrect, and it doesn't show the password for the poker server either.
We're in the middle of a 9 person game now. :)

First off, I run the server and I am the only with Admin access. The Admin Panel, DOES NOT let you give anyone any card. That is a complete lie. You're free to download the client and the server from the programmers website and see for yourself. The link is in the channel.
As for General Starscream, you are upset that I have banned you because you are a disturbance in the channel. You insulted 2 of the mods of the channel and I am sorry, your just not welcome anymore. No one has cheated you out of anything.
Poker is not for those who can't stand losing. If you can't handle the cards not going your way, you shouldn't play. No one has ever forced anyone to join the server and play. We try very hard to be fair to all players but we also have the right not to deal with people who throw around unsubstantiated claims of cheating and scamming.

Thats not quite True Steel.
i was banned as you say, cuse i was asking to mutch.
and with the paid version you can tuggel the cards quite easy.
its in the info on the program, dont tell me you dont know about it?
you can make any flood you want to any player.
and you run this scam on people whom come to play Honest poker.
and your picking of the people running it, shows this, they all scammers in there own way.
so dont make it look like i did anything wrong.
theres several people backing this up. and i know alot have left the client as well.
i havent lost isk, cuse i have played most of my games when your not on, but when you are on, everyone but your admins loses and you split the isk between your self.

Do you have anything to back that up with Starscream? I couldn't find anything of the sort. I did find this though :
"The two hole cards dealt to each player are encrypted by the Server Module and decrypted on arrival by each Client Module using 1024-bit public key and 256-bit private key encryption. When the Server Module goes online, it generates a public key in the form y = 2^x mod p using the Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol. The value x is a random private key generated in the same manner as the key for the shuffling algorithm described earlier. The value p is a fixed 1024-bit prime number. Each Client Module creates their own public key (y) in the same manner and exchanges it with the server during the login process. Each side then calculates a shared symmetric key k = y^x mod p where y is the other side's public key and x is the local side's private key. No one monitoring the packet exchange of the public keys can calculate this value since they don't know either of the private keys (x). The shared key is then hashed with the SHA-256 algorithm to reduce it to 256 bits and is used to initiate an RC4-based stream cipher. The Server Module maintains 9 of these, one for each possible seat at the table. Hole cards are then encrypted and decrypted from the stream cipher."
[http://www.briggsoft.com/docs/pmavens/PMHelp.htm - last link on the left]
Seems to me that if there was, as you say, some way of altering the game to the advantage of any certain player with the server, there wouldn't be much point in the author taking the time to bother implementing encryption in any form, right?

You are so full of it. Nice try. From the Docs of the server:
"The Server Module does not display hole cards before the hand is complete so the Game Administrator has no advantage over other players."
Your little campaign to make this into a scam is full of holes buddy. You have a personal vendetta against Curzon Dax and you threatened me with ruining Axe Hold'em channel because I wouldn't unban you. Lets get a few things straight, I didn't pick any of the bankers, that was done by other people. I rarely even drop into the channel other than to check up on things and make sure the server is running right. NO ONE has access to the servers, PERIOD, END OF STORY, so your accusation of me splitting with the admins is horsepucky. Kind of funny how you have taken my isk and dax's isk when I am supposedly doing this.
If you are going to throw around accustions, show some proof. Right now your mudslinging falls way short. Anyone doubts what I am saying, go download the server. Go read the docs, its all right there. Straight from the docs:
"Player hole cards are not displayed to the Game Administrator until they are displayed to all players at showdown, if at all. As Game Administrator, you can pause or cancel the current running game using the buttons at the bottom of this page. Even if not playing, you probably will want to login to your own server with the Client Module to observe the game graphically."
So again, where does it say I can view the cards and give what cards I want to a player? Get over yourself.
