Hello everyone,
has anybody got some experience with killing the Temko Megathron? I know that these NPCs are probaly not meant to be killed, but I wonder if the drop any good loot?
Can we get EVE back? Please. |

Close to Detolle, in one of the Gallente Cosmos systems at a warp beacon thingy.
I cannot recall the exact system, but close enough!

Wouldn't that make him a cosmos agent? I wouldn't try killing him, it probably makes more sense to talk with him.

is his name Mascheteri Markan ? **spelling** by chance ?
his insignia is required for an agent mission. he WAS a rare spawn until the cry babies got their way. he WAS also hard(ish) untill he got tweeked :'(

No, it's not Maschteri Markan in Colelie. That guy is already on the killed list.
The Temko Megathrons lure around another COSMOS beacon, close to a caldari agent in space. And the last time I attacked that duo, my tank went down quite fast (in fact too fast for that size of tank).
Can we get EVE back? Please. |

Ahhhh
yes then :) Pretty much all the COSMOS NPS's are killable. Theres even a couple of missions that require some of the named npc's in the beacon areas to be shot at. Once they are agressed then the others go from white to red then open up a can of whoop ass. IIRC you get a faction loss to some of them too.
a GOOD place to test out this is SISI.

Finally I killed 2 of the Temko Megathrons in Jolia (Grand Futurre Information Center beacon).
Result: Large X-Ray Crystal, Ogre I and some cap boosters
I also did some searching and found it in the NPC's list. According to that, they have 90% resistance on all damage types (armor and shield), except a 20% hole in Thermal damage in the shield. Also, the 10000 Armor HP took a while to take down.
So, useless to take them down - but was nice anyway. CLOSED.
Can we get EVE back? Please. |
