I had no idea Smash was a pirating organization.
When did this start?
No, I'm not bitter, I've lost plenty of haulers to far greater pilots, and this particular one was empty of of its usual cargo, and light in fittings.
I'm simply shocked.
Another bunch of cowards to avoid then.

I saw a smash pilot in a RK gang shoot one of RK's war targets in hi-sec yesterday and get concordoken'd. So as pirates they definitely need more practice. Anyway, it was fairly lol.

Um, yeah I did have a scout, and I saw the Myrmidon, but I guess my intel was bad on Smash's low sec approach to haulers. I didn't realise they were NBSI.
As it happens I very almost killed the Myrmidon with my crow scout, but the coward ran back into the adjacent system and I couldn't follow. Oh well...

Umm haulers are targets of opertunity and damn good ones. I'm not considered by most to be a pirate (5.0 sec status and only head empire/low sec side for market related reasons) but I do like the pew pew and if i'm in low sec and see a hauler I'm going to shoot it... its a hauler and shouldn't be there without a bunch of stabs and some shield extenders.
I assume smash has a similar philosophy... NBSI extends to low sec too and if you can kill something do so makes life more interesting for everyone.

yeah yeah, I hear ya. I just didn't know about Smash. I've read some interesting threads on here about them lot complaining about INFOD and Co., I just wouldn't have expected this lone Myrmidon to shoot 'randomly'.
I guess we do things differently down our way.
But, seriously, it's all good. Like I said it was an empty hauler, and cheap fittings. The loss isn't the point, for it really wasn't a loss. It was just a surprise to me after reading what I have read on these very forums.

NBSI is a rule in most alliances that are not total carebears and a lot support or at the very least do not frown on low sec or even empire piracy in their member corps for giggles or profit.

To me Pirating is a mini-profession and most pvp does not fall into this category.
I occaisonally shoot random's in low-sec but I am definately not a pirate.

i feel the hate and agner in this thread towards me and smash is at quite a low. Plz eve members do your best to upgrade this thread with more hate and anger.I find the hate toward a dead alliance is flatering.

I'm not sure you will find a single space holding alliance ingame that doesn't have 'pirates'. Some of their corporations may be strictly 0.0 combat only, but to place a die hard restriction on every corp within an alliance would probably discount some of the most capable PvP players out there.
I mean christ Miz was in the alliance for a few weeks, so there's alot of haulers that need to be shot before we equal that one.

You think smash are bad for killing a non war target or hostile in low sec?
I killed a Knights of the Southerncross war target in Gheth the other day and he called me a pirate.. Even demanded 320 million isks to replace his ships and clones. Seriously, he demanded it or he would declare war on us and get 5 of his mates that were ready to clone to empire to get us.

Apparently a few guys in RK were out in low sec and killed a guy, he demanded compensation or he would war dec us and attack us with 4 motherships and 6 titans (it wasn't BoB)

OMG, SMASH has pirates in it. With one of the founding corps being ROME I could never ever think that this kind of activity was ever allowed. You should probably tell Peoke so he can kick the offending corp out.
