As I understand it to have a perfect refining you need to have Refining V, Refinery Efficiency IV, and the Specific Ore Processing Skill I, aswell as standings of at least 5.0 with the corporation your refining with.
My question is, is that standing personal or corp or either? I have no standings at all as I've never run a mission or ratted.. ..however the corp I'm joining has standings of over 5.0 with Wiyrkomi.. ..so when I join them if I refine at a Wiyrkomi station will I get taxed or not?

Thats close to be true, but there are some minor things i wanna point out for you.
- The tax by insufficient standing isnt linear, so it takes a standing of around 6.6 to have no taxes on npc stations.
- The standing is your personal one, so your corpstanding wont help i suppose.
- There are stations with basic equipment below 50%. On these stations you cannot aquire a perfect refining, just come close to it with maxed skills.
- On Poses you cannot receive more than 75% of the minerals out of your ores. Ice is special and is refined as on a 50% station i suppose.

Refining standing is your personal standing with the station owners, high corp standing makes no difference at all (atm) to refining bonuses.

ah thanks a lot. just had a different impression working up my standing but never did the exact math. will note that down. :)

Exact number is 6,62 if i remember correct ur standing thoward the corp who owns the station

Refining V, refining efficiency II and Ore Specific III works as well, or Ref Eff III and Ore Specific II.
Edit: I suggest you train Connections, it helps.

6,67 is the no-tax number.

Last I cheked no tax number was 6.67 (it was while ago so I'm not 100% certain) and perfect refine skills were 5/5/1 (or any other combination yielding 11 together). Standing req. was personal.

along with this question. being away for awhile, where do we find our standings again , gotta be something simple i've missed : )
