1. burnt coffee to carbon lined pan.
2. left hob flame on ALL day, so burning extractor fan.
3.arranging to meet friends in town, playing eve "for 5 mins" and totally forgetting friends.
4. (my favourite) setting my steamer on fire !!! set steamer to cook haggis (i like haggis :P) water evapourates, heats middle metal bit, burns haggis outer coating, drips fat into bottom unit, top fills with smoke, i take top off and whhhooomphhh steamer on FIRE !! WTF !!

Nothing worse so far than a couple of pieces of charcoal soot that were meant to be toast.

Started car to let warm up while waiting for skill to train. Got stuck in a conversation, then a battle, ran out of gas in drive way after 1 1/2 hrs.

I've never done that .. chiefly because it only ever happens to me when it's the last two pieces of bread in the house

I've flooded both my kitchen and my bathroom, which I don't worry too much about since it's a rented apartment, but I do hope the folks who live below me don't get drowned.

only **** poor stuff that happens to me is when i fall asleep on my keyboard, 2 indys, 3 cruisers, 5 frigates and counting........mining is more powerful than valium.

Playing until 5am when i have to be at work @ 6:30am. and having to pull a double. I was zombie like around 9pm that night when i got off.

Since Beta?
Started chain smoking, gained 15 pounds, often drink bottles of merlot in one sitting.
At least I quit smoking and got back to the gym.

1)Paid for the eve strategy guide, only to find that there is not 1 page with any strategy's.
i knew it was out-dated but thought it may give me some ideas for the corp -------not good 20$
2) getting up, logging into eve, playing for a few hours then getting phone call from work asking if I plan on coming in to work as I am 3 hours late.

Taking Battleship into belt 10 mins after castor patch..thought..cool 1mill moa's..made 5 mill..then ganked...lost 70mill
Funniest thing:
Taking Battleship into Belt a second time after castor patch..thought..cool..Battleships...made 55mill from the 2 ravens loot...then ganked...lost 30mill
Dodgy stuff:
Scramble warped a cargo container called 'You' and watch a dominix open fire...after the sentry guns finished her off...looted 60 million in megacyte + other goodies...Informed we should stop

After hours of probing, give and take, scouting enemy fleets etc etc etc waiting game, a large fleet battle commences..... and the pizza delivery guy shows up.
Note to others-- Apologizing to pizza guy for making him wait 15min to answer the door by saying , "Sorry, I was warp jammed and had to kill a Raven spamming me with cruise." Will get you very very strange looks.

I have now got RSI from spinning my ship around and around whilst i travel or mine. Damm it burns. (i think its from eve anyway ?)
i had to buy my chick a p4 computer costing hundreds, and a copy of eve so she could talk to me (works very well)get mining *****, hehe
Not had a haircut since may - its looking good actually in a 70's kinda way- so maybe not a total disaster !
I buy new shoes/trainers - they dont get dirty or wear out. (hmmm these seem like nice benefits)
Stopped answering the phone - worth doing. If they cant talk to me in eve.......do you want them as friends??
Coffee in the day to keep me alive due to massive sleep deprevation. Early nite? hehe not bloody likely.
Whist rushing during downtime, I was cutting the grass in my garden - i servered off two toes and instead of going to the hospital to have them sewn back on, i just threw them in the bin! You dont need toes to play eve.
So overall - some "would be disaters" have in fact turned out to have some benefits.
(by the way the toe thing was a fabrication)
It was only one - I stretched the truth there !
Ps - Anyone want to buy a nice big TV ? hardly used !
and finally.......haggis ! slothe?? wtf

Ok, i might get the animal rights people knocking down my door after this...
I let my cat and dog out into the backyard one rainy noontime, so that they could relieve themselves. It was tipping down with rain so I closed the back door and then nipped into the front room to carry on with my Eve session.
Some 6 hours later I get up to go back into the kitchen and realise that the dog and cat are still outside in the pouring rain. I open the back door to see my dog standing in the doorway of the small outhouse with the cat sitting underneath the dog. They were both soaking wet. I felt so guilty.
Luckily, my other half was not around when this happened, otherwise I would have been disembowelled.

I was trying to hurry through my work out to get home so I could play. So instead of putting a 45lb and a 25lb on each side of the bench bar so I could warm up. I put two 45lbs on each side. This being the main reason it hurts like hell to type this out.

I'm at uni at the moment writing up my PhD thesis (its pretty late). Anyhow, I tend to play EVE A LOT! Some things that have got me,
* missed work often.
* quit work (still have my scholarship..phew).
* my gf calls EVE my other ***** 
* charcoal pasta, charcoal chicken, charcoal steak, lots of charcoal cooking.
* eve really cuts into my **** time.
Its an evil evil game!

Having 20 people show up to party 2 minutes after getting a "I'll hook you up with someone higher up in the Corp" mission from my only level 2 agent pre-castor and spending an hour playing computer when it was everyone's first time being at my house. So they didn't get the tour, didn't get introduced to the roomies until I had a level 3 contact.
