Eve is a game that allows you to actually build something from nothing. give you instant satification. something you can't get that easy in real life. there are enough examples of organisations in Eve. for example, The Big Blue. they managed to get a 'safe space' in 0.0. an player managed empire. this is something you can't get in most games. or another one, the old ISS. have a real investment market. get money by investing in a program. but this isn't all in the past. look at FIX, the Mothership they lost. they got trough the planning stage, and actually building it. it maybe was funded by 1 person. but it's an accomplishment. or other, look at BoB, the amount of outposts and Titans and Motherships they have. a lot of planning and building. BoB has a huge empire. satisfaction =)) (well, i bet, lol)... but the game is more diverce. to expand, we need to fight. fight for the land, or space. it's good to build ships. but it's in our human nature to destroy ships. we get jealouse. we wanna steal the cool stuff from your neighbours. you can destroy your neighbours hard work. you can actually ruine someone's day in eve. and for me, this is all the fun in this game =D. (plz don't ruine my day) ------------- CCP employee: "look this is broken, lets fix it" later: "\o/ yay, fixed" result: the thing that was broken is still broken, in the process they also broke some other stuff... THNX!!
