Are there any plans to take into account the greater difficulty it takes to clear drone sites relative to their pirate counterparts? If you're in, say, Serpentis space you know exactly what damage types to tank for and what damage types to deal. Drone spawns are unpredictable on both counts and this slows down the process a fair bit.
Also, rough ETA on content patch? You know you want to tell us. D:

- (And this is in reply to the other guy too) Gas clouds ONLY appear in the eight 0.0 COSMOS regions. The rest of the 0.0 regions don't have them either.

I was looking through Quickfit's list of NPCs at work the other day, and there was something in there, I haven't been out to the Rouge Drone regions, so don't know what this is meant to be, or if it's just some random thing that wasn't actually put into. It's under Asteroid Drone Battleships, and it is literally "Drone Queen."

Did you mean the Rev 2.2 patch grey? Currently they still only have empty wrecks and salvage fails quite a lot on them.
Is it possible to "disable" the failing of salvage on them perhaps?
Edit: Any news on hauler spawns for the drone region? We got plenty of minerals but a mexallon spawn would surely be cool once in a while. It also gets ppl together since you basically need to help haul.
3th thing : How long will it take to get these gravimetric and radar sites? They have the possibility of brining in lots of isk to be honest.
We (drone region people) still all feel that we like in one of the crappiest places.

How about a simple hauler spawn loaded with alloys? Even that would be nice.

I am sorry that I had to necro this thread, but I have a real problem.
I have tailored 4 accounts around invention, an explorer, a miner/refiner, a PVE combat pilot and a research/manufacture/inventor. My dream in this game is obvious from my character selection. I wish to immerse myself completely in the invention process. Many people think that is crazy, but it is my dream.
Unfortunately, I belong to a corporation that has established itself in the drone region. I really enjoy the corporation and the people in it very much. I would prefer not to have to leave them in order to continue this dream of mine.
I was unaware of the issue discussed in this thread until I arrived in the drone region yesterday, all gung ho and ready to rock and roll. I quickly found out about this issue and now I am totally depressed that I may not be able to proceed as planned.
CCP, your responses in this thread have been very vague and according to them you should already have made some improvements in this area. However I have probed more than 40 systems in the last 24 hours without finding a single radar or magnetometric site. I suspect that if I probe 4000, I will still not find one.
Is this going to change soon, or are you going to leave those of us in the drone region who wish to participate in the invention process down completely.
I will eventually do what I must to be able to continue with this dream of mine. But it would sure be nice if you could fix this so that myself and other people that may be in my position, could participate just like the people in all of the other 0.0 space areas. I know that you have stated that there are off-setting advantages to being in the drone region, but I haven't seen them or heard anyone speak of them in any outstanding manner. If there really are alternative advantages, it wouldn't make any difference to me anyway, for the obvious reason.
I hope you will respond to this CCP, but to be honest, even if you do respond, I am not particularly hopeful that you will be any more positive or any less vague than you have been already.
Thank you in advance for anything that you might do to rectify this issue.

Any updates from CCP would be appriciated.
1. ETA on bringing exploration rewards to a reasonable level.
Reasons for that:
Exploration profession is suffering in the drone region. If you train mining skills, you can go mine all you want results are there. With exploration it's worthless. You invest in skills and don't get rewarded.
When I moved into drone region I had some exploration skills and i was seriously considering going deeper into it. Needless to say I've abandoned exploration for 6 months now, because there is no point in it and didn't bother training more skills.
2. ETA on balancing Arch/Sal and hacking sites.
3. Any other updates please.
