Lost my moros today in rancer, Props to a well executed operation. Wont go into details except to that i self destructed due we didnt have more than 5 people online so we couldnt send a counter attack to the blobb.
Stupid of me yes, but then Cruel intentions faked the mail, and didnt even make a proper fake.
They didnt even get a proper fitting. So i guess they got more ****ed than i got?:) Anyhow, time to fetch a new one.

Seen CI fight a few times and I take a wild guess at nanocurses, a lot of them? :)

Genuine curiosity, how come you self destructed at 80% armor? With the amount of damage we were doing you probably could've tanked another 15 mins (at the rate it was going down at least), thats 15 mins to at least try and take out one or two ships

Or time to find some "catches" on involved parties and get them to stop or selfdestruct in an effort to prevent the excrutiating (spelling pls?) evidence to be provided to the public.
Oh BTW, I have some photos to sell.. convo me :)

I would never say that someone shouldn't self destruct because hell it's your ship you do what you want with it but unless u were perma jammed and damped to hell and couldn't do a thing it surprises me that u wouldn't at least try to take one of them out with you. I know i would.

Out of cap, yeah 80% armor left, No Drones, damped, tracking disrupted to hell. But why would i feed you with the loot?
The end was set in stone. Couldnt have ended any other way. Only 5 corp members online, and yeah there were a couple of Nanocurses vagas etc.
And i sure didnt wanna give em that plesure why die with honor when you can die knowing you ticked someone of?
And me admiting my moros downed isnt proof enough? You didnt even get the fitting right so you had to fake one?

self destructing deneys them the loot AND the killmail. Why wouldn't you self destruct just to **** them off? This is EVE, you can pirate a moros at will, why not sacrifice them the proof/loot too?

I don't see the big deal. They wanted to destroy his ship, It got destroyed. I do think it is lame to not count it as a loss or a kill so if it was me I would fake a mail and post my loss and forward it to them for good well done. But I see no reason why it isn't valid to deny your enemy loot or info about your fitting.

Scrambled dreads are unable to jump out. His only way out was to either tank us until backup arrived (not an option according to OP), or kill us all, which would be rather hard after we killed all his Ogre II's.
He didn't seem to have a web fitted so was unable to hit reliably with capital blasters.
