This movie is all about large scale action, there is no NPC ganking, no roaming ops, no ceptors clips, all BS action footage
It's a collection of fleet fights with RA/GOON/TCF/Friends, over the past 2 month, with some capital action as well.
It's encoded with mp4, and is only 200meg big, not bad for a hq 25min movie.

Pedantic: MP4 isn't a codec, its a container. H.264 is the standard used to construct the codec... and I assume your codec is x264 unless you're using something proprietary like Nero Recode.

Edit: Looks good but you screwed up somewhere and at some point during your video exporting you made the video interlaced, so the quality really got hurt 
Whatever that VLC is doing with the interlacing looks pretty good on my computer. It's not perfect, but it doesn't suffer much.
Also: for folks who hate downloading codecs and want a simple, non flashy, functional video player, you should look at VLC.

This looked pretty bad to me  (10:50 in vid)
Part of the issue is when you encode interlaced stuff as progressive video, you lose quality because it takes so much more data to encode all the useless lines. I hate how so many good video editing programs default to interlaced output; who wants it anyways?

It looks exactly the same with VLC, Mplayer, FFDShow, and CoreAVC... yes that's a particularly bad framegrab (most aren't nearly as atrocious) but its what you get when you do an interlaced -> progressive conversion without deinterlacing.

I think his editing app forced him to save it as interlaced mpeg2 before he could do the final encode. It doesn't show up on my system with CCCP (with mpc) installed, but it shows up on my other systems with mplayer, ffdshow, etc.

That's because ffdshow has de-interlacing options.
However, de-interlacing an interlaced movie which was encoded as progressive is a pain. Not to mention the fact, that the quality HEAVILY suffers from it.

played fairly well here; quality looks good although a few times when you move the camera fast it does degrade.
the action is a bit zoomed out but thats understandable in fleet combat i guess.
its interesting to see some of these big battles that we here about. some ts recording would be nice though or more explanation of whats going on and how it fits into the overall war.

Nice1 m8. Points for not speeding up the action too much (ppl do that too much these days and its kinda annoying not to be able to follow whats really happening). The only minus side i can figure is that the battles feeled like "not connected" so maybe more "storyline" stuff would make the movie feel more like "big war".
Anyways nicely done.

when I read the top comment I had kinda bad expectation for the vid...but watching it was a great suprice. the vids is very nice I think. Even its only fleet fights, its good fleet fights... some quite chilling warpouts there:P with 6% struck and such. 
The vid overall feels kinda "cold"....something similiar to another a bit old RKK vid:
"Blaster*****"(eve-o sensors the entire name:P but another word for"hooker" starting with a Wh... , its even got 1 song thats in that vid I think).
But it feel like a "professional" with no flame or smack or lots of story and things like that...very objective. so..I dont think its anything wrong with that "coldness", as I feel that its a bit what bob reprecents. professional pvpers with a decent mature level.
over all! tumbs up for this vid.

The only thing I am pondering about is, why would ra commit their cap fleet in unprotected into a system full of hostiles.
