What can I say? It has been a fun 4+ years. I am officially annoucing that I will be leaving the corporation and closing the doors. I feel I have done it all in EvE. We started as an empire corp with one of the first BPO's building scorpions for Biomass,Space Invaders, Paladins of the Red Skull and helped in destroying NVA.
I have been in leadership, politics, military and economics positions over the years. I have always believed and stood strong on being honorable in EvE, which I believe is rare.
My last goal was to take what was left of LV and create an alliance with the corporations that showed Vigilance in LV, our offer was to take northern space with MC. I went on vacation in RL and left the alliance in the hands of Frost/Saeris/Jaeden (sp?) only to have the alliance disbanded and our enemies set to blue and friends set to red after our hardwork and dedication of the players of Vx.
Ironicly I didn't even have an alliance created at the time of the offer from MC, thanks for the trust. I believe we did very well till we were hit with the curve ball while I was gone.
One leader said to me "Crice your too nice", Meeusa69 couldn't have been more accurate. Trying to make everyone happy is a suck job, but someone has to do it. You win some you lose some. "It is what it is".
Our corporation wasn't a rich corp, but each director will get a payout. Good to know some things work for the best with investments and assets of our sister corp around 360 Billion.
Thank you to the GM's and Dev's that put up with my **** over the years and others that made EvE such a memorable experience.
Our members and myself will be doing some looking for a home, while I work on the disbanding of the corporation within the next 2 weeks.
Best Regards,
crice 07

You did the best you could for a long time, now it's time to take care of yourself.

Crice, I read about you and your corp when you announced your return to the game around a year ago. From the forums, I got the distinct impression you and your guys were legends.
When you joined LV in our fight, I was very pleased. I had the honour of flying with you and your pilots on several occasions and was always impressed.
Like most pilots that have flown with you, I'd be pleased to be in any eve organization you were a part of (or leading). However, if you're set on leaving the game, then I wish you the best in your future endevours. Hopefully, though, I'll see you again sometime :). --------

Like Helen said, please don't totally disband the corp, keep an alt in just incase.
And don't forget that there are many ex LV corps still out there, aswell as old friends.

Hey old friend, sad to see you go. I was so ****ed when you announced your comeback and joined LV after I had already left it. We should had the chance to fly together again. Was a great pleasure back when we used to live together in Cache back in the old old old CA days. (pre-RUS, sry RA)
Anyway, good luck in whatever you do, you will always have the respect you earned here and I know you will get that where you end up.

You can thank the Galatic Empire corp for surrendering both your outposts with 1 triumvirate tower dropped while you were on vacation. Its ok though because 1 of those I believe has been captured by friendlies. It is a shame to see another old corp disappear from eve. Best of luck in whatever you may do!!

I know I left the corp behind long ago but I never left because there was anything wrong, just to pursue other ventures that of course never panned out.
Since the fall of of LV it's been a bit chaotic and I think it's taken it's toll on many.
Thanks for running a good show and always being honest. For that you earned much respect.

Sad to see such a great corporation go. Because of CRICE Corp, I experienced and learned about 0.0, I built my first BS, thanks to the help of BK and all who tanked for me and helped me mine for my Typhoon. I had my first Fleet Engagement. I even kept going until I ran out of clone money. When I was down to my last 100k or so, I couldn't keep going but I had enough for another clone if I needed it. I even had the pleasure of ratting with fighters when I first got into my Typhoon to make some cash to get better equipment so I can rat more solo. I even had the pleasure of flying with BoB and company once. I remember when I first joined... It was a day or so after Enslaver launched the DD on the goon fleet in 1v-. I even had the pleasure of looking at a titan close up.
I had tons of fun with you guys and it made 0.0 much more enjoyable. Thanks to you, I find it boring in Empire, so I am in Vale alot more often.
Fly safe Crice and all former CRICE members... May the spirit and memories of LV be with you guys forever.

You're all an outstanding bunch of people, and as for you Crice, you're one of the few people that I know of ingame that have the 'Do no evil' thing down to an art. As Meeus69 said, you indeed are too nice, but not in a bad way at all.
I wish you and the others in Crice Corp much luck in the future. And if you're just looking to get away from it all for a bit, come talk to us man. You know where to find us.

Dood, Doctorstupid2 is *not* Bellum. He was just saying hello to Bell. Doc is a pirate buddy of mine and Bellum's.
And I don't think talking about your opinions about Jaden in your post was appropriate, regardless of what did/didn't happen with Vx. Come on, do you *really* think that one guy could have ruined everything so completely without at least *some* cooperation by other people (assuming he 'ruined' anything at all, which IMO he didn't).
It was no single person, and no one maliciously destroyed the alliance. It evaporated because the members didn't want to continue to be an alliance. No one did any kind of scorched earth policy and enacted some huge slash and burn strategy to destroy it while you were off line.
I'm just as disappointed as anyone with the way things went, but no single person is to blame. And in fact, no single group is to blame either. Just wasn't meant to be.
Come pirate with me some time. It'll make you feel better killing some poor innocent carebears.

Your right Bell, I mean murderone... it wasn't just one person. I'd like to point out the leadership and founding members of Freefall Securities, VBBoy, Meeus69 and Frost/Saeris/Jaden Kasan. Whom, prior to the Tri invasion of YA0, during the Razor siege on Terror in the System had made threats and the idea of leaving to form their own alliance public knowledge to some of the Vx Leadership. After being talked down and into sticking out out through Tri, Crice stepped down as the leader of Vx and handed the reigns to Frost, as crice admitted he had a lot of personal issues going on at the time. This transaction occurred on the weekend leading up to the Triumvirate Evacuation NAP. 3 days later, on a Tuesday evening, a meeting was called by the three men mentioned above and the announcement was made, due to whatever you were told (because there were about 10 different stories) 42nd Armored/Death of Virtue (alt corps of each other), Shadow Company, and The Phoenix Rising were to pull out of the alliance to do their own thing. At this time there were several Tri POSes in Ya0, and at least one in VFK. Not just 1 in Ya0 as stated above. Of course, several friends in the north offered to take in the remaining corps of Vx but it was up to each individual corp to make it's own decision of it's future. The only thing that was agreed upon as the 3 corps bailing wouldn't be staying to help fight back Tri and leave gracefully, the remaining corps could not do it on their own. A quick poll was taking from all remaining corp leadership and the offer Tri made for a 5 day NAP was taken so all corps could cut their losses and pull out. It was not GE who made this decision on their own, but it was the last Alliance wide action that was taken in the Deklein Region. I informed Tri that we would take the nap and all other parties were informed. All corps started doing what they needed to do in order to pull out. CRICE corp kept it's final POS online in VFK as long as possible before a communication error resulted in it going off line early and being unanchored. This allowed Aftermath Alliance time to ensure they had the POSes in place to secure VFK and the result was one day of neutral sov. in the system and then the next day the Sov going to Aftermath. As for each member corporations story after this you'd have to consult them. But as it stands, DoV/SHADO/PNX-R pulling out of the alliance mid siege while the battle was not clearly going either direction is the reason this alliance was disbanded and what has lead CRICE Corp into it's current decision.
I'll write a disclaimer at the bottom this is my perception of things but being involved in alliance wide leadership decisions and meetings since before the alliance was officially formed, I can say that most people in similar leadership positions would have the same perception on the events that transpired. There are parties who will try to tell a different story in order to save their face. But this is my story of Vx.

Originally by: Sc'a Your right Bell, I mean murderone... it wasn't just one person.
I'll write ... [Chopped for space]
...that most people in similar leadership positions would have the same perception on the events that transpired. There are parties who will try to tell a different story in order to save their face. But this is my story of Vx.
Yep, that's not far off. Except that we didn't make any threats. We were just talked out of leaving the first time round! :) We tried to leave as 'gracefully' as possible. But in the end of the day, whilst the relationships with Crice and GE etc were good, we never felt like the Alliance was communicating or functioning the way the mission-statement was set out at the beginning.
There were a couple of fairly frustrating high-profile incidents that eventually tipped us over the edge and made us pull out, which then prompted the NAP.
We're sad because we worked damn hard for the privelege of fighting alongside Crice, Juba, GE, Shado in LV, and worked hard to convince them to join the Vx project, with the genuine belief that it would work out. To choose to leave mid-fight and risk that people would mis-understand and potentially lose old friends was the hardest call we've ever had to make.
Anyway. Enough of that. Crice you're a legend. Truly one of the nicest people I've met in eve. All the best for the future fella.

It should be noted the exact timing of Frost / Jaden's little announcement. He pulled every corporate leader online at the time into a private convo on TS. The reason this should be noted is the fact he pulled us al without warning while we were engaged in fleet operations against a TRI fleet in YAO.
This may just be me thinking, but Frost / Jaden planned this out to a tee. He waited til Crice was gone, a mere 3 hrs after the man left for vacation, to pull this stunt. Makes me wonder if Frost / Jaden had a deal with TRI. CO-CEO Valiant Logistics Inc. |

It was everytime a pleasure to fly and work with you together.
Crice i wish you only the best and bright future, you deserve it. Enjoy the Game, get a little more fun on the private Level make soem isk's. Take it easy!
Also Thanks for the very good Time, of the Past it was a lot of fun, even in the hard times.
P.S. About the Vx Stuff: Unfortently i was'nt that weekend online as the **** hits the fan, took a small vacation till tuesday (or was it Wensday). And i was'nt pleased neither with the overall as well as the alliance sitiatuion either, but when in alliance you need to follow, even the not so mutch loved actions/decisions. (otherwise you would screw up your own Alliance Mates, by breaking a NAP.) If all had choosed to fight, there would'nd be a singel moon Empty, POS spamming got preaty perfect inside LV, thats for sure.

Best wishes and have a safe journey.

Edited by: crice on 30/07/2007 16:42:59 I didn't explain my plans very well. I wasn't going to revive this thread with my plans, how annoying is that eh?
I am not leaving EvE. I have ever intention to set all the standings to neutral except for VLINC and anyone else I might have contacted personally. (trust me it ain't much). I have caps, I got ISK, I got friends. We are looking for a home where I can bring some other US TZ players and pew pew by taking orders and not giving them for once in 4 years.
No more politics, no more negotiating no more "what now crice". Remember don't bring knives to a gun fight. Please no more convos about Vx and a BoB alt blah blah etc etc. Don't care. Don't wanna chat. I just wanna see things explode.
US TZ 4tw! I am no longer the CEO of CRICE Corp! WOOT!
peace love and die
PS: Much respect to all the love and old schoolers showing up in the thread!
