CCP, when will you admit you suck at programming and server maintenance? If you're not going to man up and hire some professional programmers to re-write EVE's server code on a more scalable platform then at least give us some kind of skill training queue to make up for it.
For those "IT Professionals" that will definately respond with flames something like "rofl you can't just throw money at this" and "omg it's impossible noob" get a clue. Nothing is impossible, and money can solve this problem if applied properly. Instead of card-games, magazines, crappy TV shows and fanfests why not leave that to the players and get some professionals to work on your product with you?

So what if we have to pay each month and there are unexpected crashes, that is just like real life in a way.
Who playing this game has always had everything go exactly how they want and when they want it? I guarantee you, there is nobody in the entire world that is that lucky.
Go outside and enjoy the world for once, read a book, play with a pet, or even watch some television.
Quit your whining and find something else to do for once. After all, I did....watered the garden, played with the pets, and have the television on also. And if need be, I even have a new book to read.
The game is not your entire world I am sure, so dont act like it is.
Go back to your RL then and stop bothering us who are expecting a product we paid for. Those who are posting with the "omg get a life whiners" type posts need to STFU. Seriously, this is a game we pay to be able to play and we cannot play it. We have a right to complain. Our RL activities have nothing to do with it and they are certainly none of your concern.

Instead of whining about not receiving a service you pay for (or maybe you don't) you whine about people who do? Are you stupid? There is no logic in that. Unless you are trying to earn forum mod brownie points - or you are a CCP alt of course.
I object to being called a child for whining BTW. Children whine about stupid things, this is me whining about a service I pay $40/m for being totally unreliable. Not a stupid thing to whine about IMO.

Won't say what, but I work in this industry, and I am in deployment. Jeep whining. CCP have my respect for what they have been able to do.
Plenty of more demanding clusters have been designed and operate successfully with out such hassels. Sure, outside of the gaming industry. But CCP would have enough money to consult professionals if they didn't waste it on some of the things they do..
