On a serious less playing mood.Yes here at PA we have closed the gates to the "Cursed!Region of Venal.Why.Due a Iteron Mrk 5 filled with toxic waste some how exploded deep in venal Leshing Tons of TOXIC waste,We thought we should close the gates and try to clear the mess,While not causing any Sickness to Non members of the Alliance.Intill we clear up the toxic the gates are closed.

No... the main reason is to help reduce the lag in fountain
You ask why?
Imagine a lot of ppl coming in venal and visiting the belts... the missile spam would seriously overeload the nodes

Hehehe well I shoulda guessed it would be a hot topic...but sheeesh
I nip out for the paper (not to play in the snow...honest ....well ok maybe a bit, I did throw a few snowballs at the kids outside their school on lunchbreak ) and come back to 3 pages hehehe....
Well basically I just thought that the PA would be trying to make friends for when the FE (and perhaps their friends) come back from their jaunt in Fountain.
The FA charged people to enter their "realm" and wondered why nobody would come help when the "bad" guys showed up.
Just a thought....

Now a nice calm response.
venal is closed, but if u happen to stray in, u wont be instantly destroyed, the only way this will happen is if u are an alt in a shuttle, or 20 systems in. u will be asked to leave, if u are polite and do so, then alls good.
mistakes can happen, do u know what we actually need, we need warnings that u are entering an alliance controlled territory, that would be nice, like the ones we get when we enter 0.0 and likes.
Im sure the devs would be able to sort that out.

Exactly so DB, I do think the PA types in the thread should take a chill-pill and stop jumping at shadows. As I said earlier, I did feel quite rudely treated by PA, but the limit of my revenge is going to be merely taking the mickey every now and then, and frankly that shouldn't be too much pain to bare for the big strong boys in Venal, now should it?

Try acting more mature for starters jade, and stop with the propaganda. I had a bit of respect for jericho until you started with all the bull on the forums.
As for DBP, the PA choses when it ends its state of war, venal still gets a attacked now and again, they chose who goes through or not at that time until they feel it is safe. As would anyone else in the same situation.
As for the not defending territory, i think you will find the members currently in the PA did fight, its a shame alot more of the old NVA corps did not otherwise the problems wouldn't of happend in the first place.

Venal is a closed region. Previous NVA attempts to allow shipping and free movement throughout Venal were unsuccessful and it was extremely difficult to regulate. In response to the actions of previous attempts from corporations trying to enter Venal freely and then overstepping their bounds, the PA closed Venal completely. If you enter Venal you will be fired upon, the PA can take no responsibility for ships not belonging to the PA entering the Venal region.
