Means something bad happened. Just wait and see, should be fixed soon.

Same here. I got 3 different ISPs so is not on my end. It appears the strange message Status: "proxy not connected" but it shows 27000 players inside...
I had the fun of my life doing the hardest lvl 3 mission ever. I usually get bored with them 3lvls but i am still too weak for lvl 4s . Anyway while i was fighting and had it under control (got around 5 million too from bounty rewards the server stoped responded" I didnt cared so much cause i was not in a critical situation anyway. I immediatly tried to relog.. Nothing Eve was dead. Tried to restar machine ...nothing... and now i get this mwessage about "proxy not connected" Doh ! :/
