This is a link to my in-eve profile so you can see what learning skills I have already trained
http://ineve.net/skills/character.php?charID=MTMwNzk0MzU3OA%3D%3D
currently with +3 implants in all slots except charisma my attributes are :
int 23 perc 23 cha 11 will 19 mem 25
I am aiming to pilot a hulk and mostly want to be in the mining business with some manufacturing on the side. I am also going to get my drone skills up and eventually train to be able to fly a gallente BS fitted with railguns for my combat. Currently i can run L3 missions quite easily in my drake but thats pretty boring and I want to get inot some PvP after I have got my mining skills sorted out.
I think my main concern is that while I can train industry skills quite fast becasue of high mem/int the combat side will suffer later becasue my willpower is pretty low ? Is it worth me rolling a new character just for combat or can I stick this one out to the end and become a multitasker ?
My current skill plan using evemon is 480ish days but that includes loads of research skills that I am thinking of cutting out ?

If by an alt you mean another character on the same account, I'd say not worth it unless you have something to hide or want a pricechecker in another region.
If you mean and 2nd account then it depends how happy you are spending more money. One character can use anything in the end and a slower training time in one area will be balanced by faster in another.
Overall I'd say unless you need a 2nd character online at the same time as you're main stick with one character. That way you only do common/pre-reqs once, only get standing for refining once etc.
Also willpower is probably going to be more often a secondary attribute for skills you need, so it's half as important to those skills training time as the primary.
I believe the equation is
Primary Attribute + (Secondary Attribute/2) = Skill Points per minute.
If you want to compare how fast you will train skills for each category you can work out the sp per min and compare them for your attributes.
Hope this helps Wild

The character you have above will be fine. Remember that your combat ship doesn't just need weapons. It needs Drones, Electronics, Engineering and Mechanic skills to be worth anything. Even if it takes you a little bit longer to train the weapons' skills, you'll train the other skills pretty quickly. ------------

It pretty much even out in the end.
I started as mining character, and changed to combat skills. My friend started as fighter, but trained mining skills too, so he could help us mine. Only difference was, he trained his combat skills faster than me, but I got my industrial skills up faster.
Your attributes are just fine for both things.
