So accualy should roadkill and smash be happy...because if we hadnt stopped em I might suspect u have had 15 cloaking ravens in ure region..farming 23/7. think 3-4 ravens +a torp hauling hauler went down. later that day I saw Bob killed more or less the rest of them. dunno whats buesrew is accualy thinking.... Plus he tried to warp away when i accidentally jumped into his belt while i was ratting. So i knew he was macro ratter. Was fun to pop him though.

Some of the guys actually probed one of these ravens at their giant sec can safe. Scans showed lots of faction and Drac loot inside said cans. When they would jump through HED, we would pop them, calling them macro scum, etc. They replied, Please don't shoot we're blue. We aren't macro'ers, we have it, but we don't use it. IAC said we didn't need to reimburse them and said they were getting 1b or whatever it was, a week, for them to rat in Delve. Sigh, the good ole' days.

slothe Caldari 0utbreak	Posted - 2007.07.28 09:20:00 - [31] as i keep saying, something has to be done about cloaking farmers, you can find one in almost every system in 0.0 for many jumps in different directions. the problem imho is that there is NO risk for these farmers as they chain npc in 0.0. the ravens, even on a low skill character can easily kill the npc. solutions are as follows imho- 1. make npc harder (but increase bounties) including increasing the amount of warp scrambling npc (there used to be more). 2. Make npc's give aggro for 10 mins. 3. Stop aggro clearing in next system. 4. increase penalties for cloaks - suggested has been a multipler signature radius that increases decloak range. but make fitting requirements harder.

The only way to end isk-farming is to shutdown the demand. If CCP starts going after people who buy isk then the problem will be solved. I know RL parallells are a no-no but just look at the way the yanks go after coca-farmers and tell me that has been effective.

"Took a roam in wicked creek, about 40j in total. 13 Ravens cloaked on me. 3 Drakes warped out stabbed. 1 Ibis killed. I love this game."

It is CCP's. If anything and these guys are doing something against the EULA or by breaking some other rule, we accually help CCP by creating a buzz and _make_ them investigate them. But I guess it is easier seeing it the other way around if you're bob and they rat in your systems and pay us.

This isn't a defense of isk farmers, but rather I don't see why not skim a billion isk of a group of players too dumb to realize they're renting space from an alliance that doesn't even live close to the region. As for fixing the isk farming problem, from a PvP standpoint I like Orange Species' idea. Will certainly make them easier to catch in belts, though maybe make it so you can't cloak after you've been NPC agro'd for the length of the npc aggro (only for proto/improved cloaks not covert ops) I'm Ex-Biomass, that makes me cool But now I'm KOS and that makes me cooler 8)

Its funny seeing peeps from Noobcorps, IAC, KOS, Goonswarm and Goonpets working together that close in the same systems with the same setups. And Alliances like IAC or KOS lamely claiming they would just rip those farmers off is a poor lie. They offer standings so there is less risk for traveling and docking rights for ammo and fitting in exchange of some little money. Its a symbiouse of lameness no ripoff excuse works here. I am specialized on those farmers but no matter how good and fast you are with the scanner it still works like this: Jump load sys = 3 - 5 sec Scan belts in average= 10 sec Warp in average 20au (sometimes 1 sometimes 60+) = 10 - 15 sec Lock target and or get in range = 2 - 5 sec A raven on 0 speed to warp out max 20 sec So u need to be very very quick and even than u need luck to get one ( thats for the average :P ) On 30 Ravens i try on i get one or two, 10 warp out when i come into the belt the rest is just on scanner until cloak And this spending all playtime and focusing only on those suckers Over 80% of those Ravens are for sure not making money to buy ships to pvp for thier alliance! I do play eve for the pvp, eve is supposed to offer me this pvp when i search for it cuz this is what CCP shouts out loud where ever they can. So i spend my freetime to search for targets and try to get them ...now imagine you are a carebear (miner) warping into a belt where u scanned out some nice roids and over half of em are allready gone b4 you get visual and another 49% disapear right infront of your eyes cuz ur riods just loggoff cloak and such and all that is left is a 233 untis veldspar point ....hf. Cloak is ok on ships like covops, stealthbombers and recons but come on a battleship or even something more like a capship can cloak and no one can detect it. Local needs to go, chat is ok but local as intel is crap and cloaking on non cloak specialized ships needs to be nerfed ( non cloaked spec. ship cant fit other than prototype and that one needs fuel, cap or something for example so is limited) Ok that was basicly it sry for the textwall and hell yeah u can have my stuff when you can kill me bugger :P

I dont whine cuz my 0.0 life is to unfair i whine cuz it hurts me deep to see such a good game falling so deep with each user highpeak we had...who needs 30k players when the server lags out and 5k+ of those players dont play a game but focus on rl money on the expance of the peeps who actualy pay the game, cuz no isk farmer organization pays a single dime ! 0.0 is not risk land where u need to teamplay with scouts and escortes,its a JOKE. Where every1 useing stabbed cloaked crap + logoffsky has allmost ZERO risk ! I do play eve for the pvp, eve is supposed to offer me this pvp when i search for it cuz this is what CCP shouts out loud where ever they can. So i spend my freetime to search for targets and try to get them ...now imagine you are a carebear (miner) warping into a belt where u scanned out some nice roids and over half of em are allready gone b4 you get visual and another 49% disapear right infront of your eyes cuz ur riods just loggoff cloak and such and all that is left is a 233 untis veldspar point ....hf. Cloak is ok on ships like covops, stealthbombers and recons but come on a battleship or even something more like a capship can cloak and no one can detect it.
