I've started porting some of my J2ME (cell phone) code to use it in a desktop equivalent, kind of like a Java based platform independent EVEMon.
When I've got it to a point that that it does (and displays) something really useful, how many people would be prepared to install Java 1.6 and give it a whirl ?
It needs the latest Java because it also uses the system tray to minimize to, and diverse other bits and bobs (OH NOES, I said BOB, well some people might scan posts for bob(s)).
Anyway, let me know what you all think, would you even use it, why bother, etc.
Once I've got it to a half baked level I'll release it and the results will be a copyleft (GPL) piece of Java code on sourceforge, I might even put the code up there earlier if there a few other Java developers prepared to help me make this happen. |

First bit of coding is completed, and I want to make sure everything is working as it should be.
You can define accounts, load them, and the associated characters.
Just download the zip file, unpack it and double click on "eveswa.zip", the application should then fire up.

And please let me know if scrolling your mouse wheel in the tabs does anything

Found a little bug that causes big problems on a new install.
Required fix available at http://eve-files.com/dl/120706.
You'll still need the initial file http://eve-files.com/dl/120666 though, because this is just a quick patch. |

I found a couple of bugs that were causing problems when initially loading accounts, these have been resolved in 0.0.3. |

Released eveswa-0.0.4
Lots of changes and additions, its quite usable now :)
You need the file eveswa-libs.zip from release eveswa-0.0.3 to run this application. |
