Last night I was playing with one of my mates that is new to the game. I was situated at Planet X at Uhodoh in a raven showing him some simple safe comabt... or so i thought.
I had my drones out... and for some reason they started to atatck him... I think he put some form of aggression towards one of my drones so they all opened fire on him without my permission. The thing is we are in a gang so shouldnt all gang-mate friendly fire be be ignored by CONCORD?
Anyway there seems to be 2 bugs... one being drones attacking when they shouldnt be and the fact that concord then warped in scrambled me locked me down and blew up my raven class battleship that WASNT insured.
would it be possible to speak with a GM about this??

Just thought I best add Ive just lost a 100 million isk Ship due to the damn bug.

Yeah I thought as much about the Freindly fire within gang mates.
But I still never gave any orders to atatck anyone they just went of and did it, mabe splash damage made them attack him. Fact is they went and attacked him due to some sort of agression towards them so why has concord attacked me? They shouldnt have.
And I was going to do a pertition but there aint enough room to tell the happenings so I posted here. Is there a email or something I can use to email a Gm what happened or something?
Better yet if polaris or a GM could mabe eve mail me there mail.

Thats exactly the same thing that happened to me... if 2 of use experinced it i think we mite havea probblem here. For me to be honest Orignally definatly 1 of my drones started flying off by itself to attack my gang mate... followed later by the rest of the squad at first it was just one single drone... And iam difinetly sure i didnt give any order to that 1. It seemed to have am ind of its own.
Anyway ive just spoke to my mate he thinks he mistakenly locked onto one of my Drones thinking it was a pirate. As I said before hes new to the game and at that point only had it for a day or so.
This could of been why they all flew over to him. Though to be perfectly honnest I think it was due to something else. This is due to the fact earlyer on n the night I also had my drones out and they did the same thing or something similar, they had just flew of by themselfs and attacked some pirates... diffrence is I thought nothing off it since they were attacking pirates but I definatly gave no order.
Anyway gonna send that mail now :D

Theres some definatly probblems with ganging and drones. I donno about you lot but I feel if Iam in a gang with lets say some alliance to help out with pirate threats as I have done in the past, I want to be confident knowing that if mistakenly I hit one of my freinds due to splash damage or what ever Iam not gonna recive a security status hit or in the higher controlled areas have concord wipe me out.

Hmmmm concord wont attack u if your in the same corp.. My corp do it all the time first person to drop sheilds wins etc etc.
edit... slip of the hand ment to put if your in the same corp not gang.

Ive still had no responce from ccp. and after reading...
Yes, you can gang up with other players for the short term to help you in combat situations. You can also gang up with fellow corporation members.
Note that forming a gang with someone will disable CONCORD response if that player attacks you, willingly or by accident. Never gang with people you do not know and/or trust.
Which is what I thought why did concord attack me, not that they should of attacked me in the first place. stupid drones.
