No one seems to be willing to put up any on the lines, except when they have systems locked down or in the wee hours of opponentÆs time zone. Aside from the logistics advantages, titans, mother ships, carriers donÆt venture more than 2KM from the POS shields. Dreads, well, they donÆt ever participate in anything more than a late night POS shooting. Why would anyone even bother buying or flying a dread? Is that what you intended CCP? Is that what you wanted capitals to be? Expansive haulers and POS spamming tools? Because thatÆs what you created. Please, donÆt call this a PVP game. ItÆs now a blob game or a POS war game, not a PVP game. At least not capital combat PVP game. All the training and skills are worthless, because no one is willing to put them up on the line, since they die faster than you can say, ædictor, oh ****, IÆm deadÆ. What a waste of our time and money.

In my opinion their recent lack of use has likely been far more due to server issues than anything wrong with the ships themselves. Sometimes people just like to have a good old fashioned battleship fight too. --- ---

Titans were overused too much, plans would revolve around luring or chasing down your enemies so you could doomsday them with little or no risk to the titan itself. so yeah capitals aren't to be used to go roaming in looking for quick ganks They're strategic tools.

Now, no one is willing to fly them in to combat, because they die faster than command ships. Sure sounds like they were definitely over nurffed to me. Most people that trained for them were in hopes of actually using them in combat. Now, itÆs just not worth the risk. Combat is now reduced to who can put up more POSes faster than they can be killed, since people again just use battleship fleets to kill them. No more major cap fleet battles ever happen. ItÆs great for the new players, it sucks for the people that trained up capital combat skills. Not really worth to fly them at the moment. CCP needs to boost up capitals a little, so there can be epic battles in EVE once again. ItÆs not very exciting to be going back 3 years to POS wars ruling the game again.

They should have chosen the option where you can catch it with anchored bubbles. It should be a hard work, lot's of planning etc. to catch a 30 or 70 billion ship. Even those who were against the tackle immunity before update only asked for thinks like capital scrambler on capital ships, which should be the only tool to tackle supercapitals and such. But now you can catch them with a domi and a dictor. Seriously, that extra slot, the few extra hp and the few fighters are not worth the huge cost diffrence between carrier and mothership. C'mon 1 bil and 25-30 bil ... who will buy motherships now Same with titans. Now the guy from Goonswarm who stood up at the convention and said something about Titans not being cost effective is really right.
