Well its been a long break for me but I am finally back to EVE Online!
Anyways whats new? When I left SysK was getting their asses kicked by stain. AAA was plowing through CVA like a hot knife through butter and IT was back in delve like they had never left. The north was carebearing like always and empire was just as laggy and boring as ever.
So far PI seems to be useless. After a week of mining 4 planets 23 hours a day I've made about 5 million..... WHOOT! Granted they are highsec planets but still..... i could blow through level 1 missions in a tech1 frig and make more money in 2 hours than i've made in a whole week with PI.
The new character creation is kinda cool though.
Anything else that is new or changed significantly that I should know about? |

I can not really answer any of your questions as I have not really played in close to two years 
OOPE is a shadow of its former glory 
I hope you find something that intrigues you as I am on my way out for good here in a bit I forsee

I think you will be amazed at how many changes have taken place in the last two years, specifically politically. You may feel like it's a whole new world, but with many similarities. Such is the game of eve online. Glad to have you back :) |

Eve has been definitely been taken to the spa, changes to the forums, characters, all stuff i'm sure you've already noted.
Politically yeah, landscape has definitely changed but at the same time... the more things change the more they seem to stay the same.
Can't think of any huge gameplay changes, most the radical stuff happened over a year ago but it sounds like CCP has some stuff in the pipe for us very soon. |

Welcome. You chose an interesting time to return.
Plow through some of the Dev Blogs and especially the fanfest vids on UTub about the coming attractions.
I-¦d recommend hitting the old(&new?) Industry fora on the PI stuff.
Though doing extractions on highsec planets seems to be indeed a waste of time (maybe barely not on .5 sys ones).
For the political sh!ts and giggles I always hit http://www.evenews24.com .
And yeah BOB/IT is dead and in empire/lowsec/yoa mum. Heh.  |
