I have been gone from the game for about a year and a half. I accepted this mission and can't find the agent I am suppose to "talk to". The agent says I should find one of her agents in 3 different solar systems and get a certificate of graduation and make sure it is signed and then bring it back to my original agent. I have searched for this "agent" and can't seem to find the "right one". I wonder if the agent is at a data center, around a moon, which solar system of the three or do I have to go to each solar system...wow am I confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the mission information, you should have a "pickup" and "drop" location or at least a name of the Agents to visit. If the later, then search for them in the people and places, set destination to their systems and go talk to them.

Oh, I know what type of agent you're talking about. Ya, that was annoying, I couldn't find the agents either. I'm pretty sure they aren't inside stations. The first agent says they're near one of the gates in one of those three systems, but again, it was annoying. I quit the mission and moved on. :-/

Ah, it is an "agent in space" you are looking for..
Make sure your overview settings is set to display them or you will miss them when flying around. They appear as a white cross with a speachbubble next to them in the ov.
You might even be able to rightclick in space in the system and chose warp to that agent straight away.. not 100% on this though.

Thanks for the info...I did find some agents in one of the solar systems at a data center but none of the agents at the data center were in the same corp as the agent that heads up the mission. I was suppose to find "an agent of hers" as the mission stated, so I assumed it had to be an agent that was in her same corp (sorry, I'm sure I sound confusing....because I am confused!) there were no agents at the data center that was in her same corp. Maybe I just need to try one and see.

In every one of the 3 system mentioned there is one of the agents you are searching for. You need only to speak to one of the agents, not all 3.
From what I recall the higher level agent did give you the name of the lesser agents, but I can be wrong. From what I recall they are not in the same corporation.
They are all in space, near a datacenter (one of those warpable signal in space). You need to have the "agent in space" selected on your overview to see them there, or you can see them in space, they are small crosses with a ballon.
