If retreat is what you signed up with BoB for then you're right that BoB has no need to adapt, but if you're not happy with the way the war is going then adaptation is the only thing that will save you. If you're adopting the mindset that CCP is to blame and they need to make the game better than you have already lost focus on the objective of winning with the tools that are available or predicted to be available.
There are plenty of accusations and insults that can be leveled against goonfleet quite legitimately, but failure to adapt is not one of them. Goonfleet is ******* quicksilver, because we've spent 95% of our time in Eve between the hammer and the rock. I'm sure BoB used to be the same, and probably can be again with the right attitude and leadership, but that's up to you guys, not us or CCP.
