The killboards show that goons + allies lost 52 battleships with bob losing 45, looks like you guys lost a lot more then t1 frigs tbh.
Good sir, I would like to inform you that finfleet also was there to assist Band of Brothers, as well as some other GBC members. It is very likely that they lost ships as well, possibly even battleships. These ships would not appear on the Band of Brothers killboard, and I urge you inspect other sources.
Yep, and I didnt look at the TCF and RA killboards either, which would have been losses on those sides as well.
The facts (as I can see it), is from the sounds of it that the goons + allies outnumbered bob by at least 3-1, yet even with that Bob + allies still walked away with more then double the kills.
You can argue all day long that those losses didn't matter to you guys, I don't really care, they probably didn't. The fact is even severely outnumbered Bob + allies walked away with a lot of kills.
1 killboard does not tell the whole story in that conflict - bob walking away with a good k/d ratio does not tell u anything about sov - but sov is what this fighting is all about - from a strategic-point of view

Originally by: John MacCoy Well I would just like to point out something here and no doubt I will be attacked by many a flaming Goon but game mechanics right now are in Goons favour.
Before Rev.II the game mechanics where heavily in favour of the alliance forces due to old style of POS warfare and the fact that titans could use their superweapons remotely. With alliance forces have a significantly large capital ship fleet they were easily mopping up the coalition POS's and collecting outposts.
Now with Rev.II deployed the game mechanics have been put heavily in favour of the coalition forces. The titans can no longer remote detonate their superweapons making them extremely difficult to use in large scale fleet combat, and with the new soverignty and POS warfare mechanics the alliances larger cap ship fleet has a harder time getting to target location because of cyno jammers at large deathstar POS's. Without the cap ships taking out the cyno jammer is extremely difficult with the number of ships the coalition can field to defend it.
What I'm trying to say is that current change in the war has less to do with the skills of the fleet commander and the pilots fighting and more to do with the new game mechanics in large scale alliance warfare.
that implies that remote doomsdaying does need skills in fleet commanding. i have to dissagree.

Originally by: Dhan OMFG, you loaded incredibly well. All I saw was 8 hostiles. I killed one and managed to warp out after taking damage from invisible ships, about 20-30 minutes into the fight (thats how long it took to lock and fire at a target).
Fight was very anticlimactic, almost 700 people insystem, and a handfull of kills on both sides. Without lag I'm pretty sure we woulda beat the snot out of goons+those other dudes.

i was the first one in my gang to load grid, still it took over 10 minuts to lock stuff another 10 to activate mods, and ofc by that time the target was dead/gone so i didnt fire a single shot in the whole battle :/
