So I heard on the grapevine that some guy called EasyLife robbed MC and LV for hundreds of billions. This Screenshot would seem to confirm it and I have heard the same story from 2 other ppl. Anyway, what is the story here? Why the lack of eve-o drama (yeah maybe thats obvious)? Aparently, the guy is now IAC's financial officer, seems like a good idea to me, but I'm sure others would disagree. So someone, spill the beans, what happened?

I think you guys have missed the point. That wallet is looking a bit thin. He's actually trying to say that a fully rigged itty 3, 79k hardwire, faction scram, and other junk was stolen from MC. I guess a drama is needed because they can't afford to replace those items. 
I agree I don't have the features to be a holoreel star.
Most people have missed the point that this is Mobsters Online and that carebears are at the bottom of the foodchain. |

Havent heard Shin, I can only report about MC's fighting in Querious... and its not looking too good atm. -A- are chomping at the bits to kill some MoMs and they have many friends that are waiting to makes themselves known..... (wink wink*)
There have already been instances where FIX poses have come out of reinforced with MC capitals in system, and IAC and -A- annihalated them with zero resistance.
Honest question, now that Super Caps are killable do they matter? Or do people just fear more to use them now?

Oddly enough, I heard something similar. A friend of mine involved in the conflict down there kept saying, over and over again, "Oh god they poked the bear."
And he also said something about the intel channels being flooded with messages, not about where to group up to attack, but what systems are safe to hide in.

You know what you should try? Try this it worked for me 1 vs 60 8).
So you have a camp or enemy ships. Get yourself a 240km warp in on them. Get your dictors to warp in and drop bubbles on the enemy while you warp to your spot 240km away. Now you have effectively eliminated about 70 percent of the fleet that outnumbers you, because they cant lock you 8). Then laugh as the other 30 percent cant hit you because they are in useless gunboats. Now watch as your Ravens spit missiles traveling at 12km/sec to an enemy that outnumbers you 60 to 1 and are trying desperately to get a closer spot on you or run for thier lives.
The morale of the story Ravens are THE BEST fleet ships inthe game, the longest range and they NEVER miss. Stop flying worthless gunboats and get yourselfs some real ships 8). Then your efficiency might be over 90 percent.

Honest answer - I spent most of the first several months in my Nyx firmly convinced that 'dictor bubbles would prevent me from jumping / warping. When MC put a bubble on a Morsus Mihi Nyx and it jumped out, many of us were confused (noobs?). When I asked other SuperCap pilots, some were just as suprised as I was.
This "new" mechanic that allows dictor bubbles to "work" is something that I never really had to adjust to - the little bastards have always worried me.
As for the past weekend, we're not afraid to use our moms against anyone. But, as a general SuperCap pilot rule...
When local hits 200, you get excited.
When local hits 300, you pray for low lag.
When local hits 400, you check your gang size (about 150) and wonder if the node is reinforced.
When local hits 500, you log in an alt and do some mining while waiting on on the node crash! \o/
Most people in the game will only be out a couple hundred mil or less if the server barfs. I'm not ashamed to say that I had NO INTENTION of jumping my 50 billion isk ship into the middle of a blob of 100 enemy BS and dictors with 500 people in local. I don't care if it's AAA or CFS; in a situation like that, they aren't the enemy - the servers are.
Write this off as an excuse if you want, but you asked for honesty.

No excuse Sel I wouldnt either, I just know that right now numbers are against you but you already knew that. RA, -A-, IAC nad Goons along with thier friends that are waiting to present themselves have your caps outnumbered. However they have been known to begin cap ship fights, and my alt will be there in its "cap" ship as well waiting for the chance to catch a titan out in the open, so dont let Molle use his in Querious. All in all MC still in my opinion have the best cap ship pilots, but I just think that you all would be using them more if this was a few months back when dictor bubbles cancelled each other out.

We lived with the enemy outnumbering our caps in the past, m8. It never stopped us from using them when they were needed. We've been in Querious for barely a week. It's hardly far enough along to judge how things might go. All in all, it's fun because it's all so unpredictable right now. It makes the game fun. Hell, I actually flew an alt today that could jump through gates and everything.

I don't think anyone would be hassled for not jumping in a Nyx when there's 500 ppl in local and there would be a significant risk of the mom being lost. It's like any other pvp decision... is it worth the risk?

I agree, but You are an obviouse coward if you don't jump into 499 enemy's. You suck at PvP and should go play WoW if you do and you don't solo them all tbh.

The story gets different everytime I hear it.
First it was RA
Then it was LV
Then it was BOB!
Then it where the missing ASCN minerals
Then it was MC.
And now the last version is LV AND MC.
You know this robbery was taken place around the downfall of lv. sinra was on planning to leave, and started moving very expensive stuff out. Something might have gone wrong for sinra there. Not saying I had something to do with that
MC has no involvement.
RA has no involvement.
Every single 'normal' minerals from ascn where escorted out before the downfall. Or put up on the market. No big robbery here. Perhaps with capship parts, or titans, but thats out of my league. I'm was just a simple grunt in ascn.
Happy speculation. Can't it just be that I got rich ratting and carebaring?

As for the past weekend, we're not afraid to use our moms against anyone. But, as a general SuperCap pilot rule...
When local hits 200, you get excited.
When local hits 300, you pray for low lag.
When local hits 400, you check your gang size (about 150) and wonder if the node is reinforced.
When local hits 500, you log in an alt and do some mining while waiting on on the node crash! \o/
Most people in the game will only be out a couple hundred mil or less if the server barfs. I'm not ashamed to say that I had NO INTENTION of jumping my 50 billion isk ship into the middle of a blob of 100 enemy BS and dictors with 500 people in local. I don't care if it's AAA or CFS; in a situation like that, they aren't the enemy - the servers are.
Write this off as an excuse if you want, but you asked for honesty.
that is completely fair, but ... don 't you have any mom pilot that sometimes play drunk and could beunable to rationalize like that? I wished so much, would make a hell of a fun :P After all we have so many that play like that, why don 't you have at least one?

No idea, but the tread responses amuse me. You have the MC people joking and being lighthearted, and you have a number of non-MC being so spiteful and petty.
It really shows the difference in character. It also shows that MC, while they take the game serious (as evidenced by their level of organization), realize it's just a frelling game.

If we were you wouldnt have any problems locating a lost MS drooling in local and asking
for directions since it was about 34 minutes since it last saw its gang. (Captain had to pee,
fix another drink and have a smoke so what!?)
Actually, if we ever decide to get a MS or somethinge even bigger you have my word it will
be flown by a drunken captain on its maiden voyage. Ask anyone and they back me up.

There have already been instances where FIX poses have come out of reinforced with MC capitals in system, and IAC and -A- annihalated them with zero resistance.
Honest question, now that Super Caps are killable do they matter? Or do people just fear more to use them now?

You know what you should try? Try this it worked for me 1 vs 60 8).
So you have a camp or enemy ships. Get yourself a 240km warp in on them. Get your dictors to warp in and drop bubbles on the enemy while you warp to your spot 240km away. Now you have effectively eliminated about 70 percent of the fleet that outnumbers you, because they cant lock you 8). Then laugh as the other 30 percent cant hit you because they are in useless gunboats. Now watch as your Ravens spit missiles traveling at 12km/sec to an enemy that outnumbers you 60 to 1 and are trying desperately to get a closer spot on you or run for thier lives.
The morale of the story Ravens are THE BEST fleet ships inthe game, the longest range and they NEVER miss. Stop flying worthless gunboats and get yourselfs some real ships 8). Then your efficiency might be over 90 percent.
How many Interdictors and doesn't it make it not a 60 to 1 anymore?
So much for derailing, what does that supposed wallet prove?
The interdictors are in alt corps, so they don't count. Otherwise, the BE killboard won't look as good.

Okay 2 things...
First the 60 vs 1, no lie that was the size of the two groups. I did have ONE dictor that I was trying to bubble the main group that was all within 500m of each other. Like shooting fish in a barrel. So if you want to be technical 60 vs 2. The dictor warped in hit the warp out BEFORE dropping the bubble in order to intiate warp before it had to MWD out of its own bubble.
Second, yes I asked an honest wuestion to MC, since I do not fly "caps" often. Sel gave a great response that I completely understand how the situation has changfed and that they are in graver perril now than before. For many who dont know me this seems like Im flaming MC, like some of Fear's posts have shown. I think Sel understands 8). I do aggitate people, its fun but I also respect MC's cap ship pilots, they are the best this game has to offer. I also agree that being outnumbered on the same battlefield as D2 doesnt count, tbh they arent that good. That is a direct flame for those that are counting. Its also the truth. Like I said before though I look foward to some "cap" ship fights hopefully.
For those that want to catch a Super Cap ship pilot with his pants down wait for Molle to log in SHRIKE. It a free Titan kill.

Please do, tell your source. I was in LV till the end. No wallet theft. I am sure that the two managing the disbanding and finances would agree. If memory serves me, every corp and member from investments got paid as well.
