What would you say is the best Caldari solo pvp ship. I know that there is no good compared too the other races. But if you had too choose?. Rook maybe ? Or Cerb?

There isn't much choice, they're gang ships.
You're probably right with those 2 choices though, possibly the Raven & Drake aswell. The Crow was good before the hitpoint buff and can still deal with slow interceptors/frigs and haulers.
Best thing to do is train the 3 low tier armour tanking skills & Amarr Frigate/Cruiser in preperation for the Khanid buff.

Crow is king of solo PVP for Inty weight class.
After that I'd guess Drake. Moa / Kestrels aren't that bad either but suffers from being tech 1 and small.
Armor tanking raven is pretty good for soloing too. It makes most excellent bait ship in 0.0. You sit in belt, wait for*****y Vagabond to come in close with Hail/EMP, then double web him and unleash hell.

Crow? Rokh?
To be honest, alot of the caldari-ships can do quite well. You can cosider them ex-khanid with more midslots.

Yeah But the Rokh is soooo slow. Unless you fit something Nano. But that's not the caldari way^^. I was thinking what ship would be best for ganking alone ratters?. Like the Curse/Ishtar does so well.

There's no such thing as a solo pvp ship especially for the Caldari. That being said check your skills, know your role, pick your ship and pwn.
The rook would be my choice if I had to though.

See you in space.

They problem with caldari is catching and holding targets... - I'm a nice guy!!

The Harpy will see a bright new future (actually, all assault frigates will) once a single medium NOS can't suck them dry anymore.
Previously it was one of the better Caldari solo boats, albeit one that has to limit itself to small targets. The following patch will only make it better!

No I'm a Caldari zealot, stick with them through thick and thin. Why do you think I'm always in these threads petitioning their cause? My mains ability to fly other races extends as far as the mighty incursus and thats basically it.
edit: Oh the fact that I'm getting reprimanded by a Gallente pilot for flying whatever is good is golden.

Beagle for solo, its a thorax with better resists tbh.
Other ships that come to mind are Rokh, Drake, Hawk, Harpy, Crow, Cerberus & Nighthawk.
Note that with pimp skills and mods most of them are as good as T1 ships or are worse then many other ships in that role. (Unless you fly them as they are intended to be flown, then they are... good? At least some ).
The fact that other race's ships are better then them if they fit nothing to tackle with is a other story...

This.
Although with Nos nerf, I think some of the solo drake setups might be more feasible. Still have trouble breaking bigger tanks though. --------------

Lets see... I fly the following
Ewar Caracal - Its alot of fun, but if you get jumped by more then 2 ships your damn sure dead.
Blaster Moa - Havent had a chance to really stretch its legs, but what I've done so far its held up very well. Forget tank, load up gank/tackle and hope for the best. Takes some pretty hefty skills though, but it'll give an average thorax a handful and a half
Crow - WEEEEEEEE *turn* WEEEEEEEEE *orbit* WEEEEEEEEE *web* errr, dead
Manticore - Marco......POLO! SUPRISE YOUR DEAD! Unless their cruiser sized or larger, then its just Suprise! Missiles!
Blackbird - Now you target, now you dont! Haha!
Drake - Havent moved from the full on passive tank on this yet, and not sure where I'm gonna go with it either. With the passive tank though Its gonna take alot to bring you down. Your only real tactic is shoot the drones.
Thats all I have so far, thinking of trying out a wicked nano'd up Raven though.

Caldari are far better at gang warfare but if you want some solo fun...
Frigate: Crow Cruiser: Rook Battleship: Scorp
These ships may not be generally considered the pwn in 1v1 but they do have one major advantage, if in doubt... run away.

Why is it golden? I moved from gankageddon (8 heatsink) 1350 dps from @ 18 km range to blasterthron, dual rep capdead which required a co-proc to fit it. Why? Cause F1-F7 gets boring after a while...
Think this was 2+ years ago.
Got my inspiration from 2* navy issue megathron flown by DNA pilots that kicked my armageddons ass. _________________________________________________ Breetime

Crow is a very nice.. you should for sure grab one of those imo.. then get a drake, then after that, a blokh, or raven. Rook are pretty good too. Dont bother with cerb though IMO its a realllllly expensive drake.

I take it you've never been on the receiving end of well organized gang of Caldari ships, nor watched the last alliance tournament. In the hands of a few smart pilots (or one smart pilot and several who know how to take orders) Caldari ships are exceptional at PvP.

Assuming you can stay in system I would say that a Chimera gives you the most bang for your buck. A Phoenix can do more damage and can sit at a station and kill a BS in a single round of fire but you need someone to tackle for you so that leaves the Chimera....

It's the truth. Depending how this faction warfare business works I'd be surprised to see anything other than Caldari fleets winning tbh.
Stick all the different flavours of Caldari ships together, fight at their optimal ranges and utilising ECM to its full and I reckon there is little competition.
Problem is pretty much all of us are too wrapped up in ships that benefit ourselves rather than our comrades.
