Are there any other skills that increase your targeting range other than the long range targeting skill in electronics ?
Currently I have that skill trained up to 3 and I have a targeting range of about 69k. I am sure I have read posts where people say they can lock targets at some crazy range of more than 100km, but even if i train this skill to 5 it only gives and additional 5% per level. In my book that means a range of approx 76km assuming that the bonus is cumulative.

Fit a sensor booster or sensor amplifier to your ship (or a couple depending on how far you want to target).

You'll get more out of those bonuses if you use a ship that already has a long targeting rage.

Battleships have significantly longer base targeting ranges than Cruisers or Battle Cruisers, so the bonus will have a greater effect on them. Furthermore, if you fit sensor boosters or amplifiers, you can increase your range even further than with just the Long Range Targeting skill alone.

Being in a fleet where a commander has Information Warfare will also help.

There's also a hardwiring implant that can increase targetting range. Implant slot 8 I believe.

If you fly Caldari and want to fight at range, look at the Rokh, it has a huge range bonus for hybrids and with the sensor booster has an insane targeting range. the best named booster has a 60% range bonus. F90 or something like that and has low skill requirements
There maybe a range enhancing rig also.
