I liked the idea of beeing able to drain cap from another ship and add it to your own.
The "equalizing" concept really blows imo :P
Just nerf NOS abit and all ships who really abuse this concept.

smaller ships can still nos bigger ships. Ships of the same size equalize. big ships can't nos small ships.
maybe put a new weaker 50% nos that counts as one of your turret hardpoints that ignores this rule.
I'm allready planing my evil nos ashimmu cap recharge boat that go insane on cap nuets then nosses, and then finishes up with a higher cap recharge rate because it's running better cap rigs. ----------------------------------- I'm working my way through college target CCP

Exactly :) this change is not the end all to the nos boats, you just have to think creative!

I've never really used NOS, but I'd have thought adding a little stacking and a little tracking would have fixed a lot of the issues.
Still, having been on the wrong side of more than one NOSdomi, I'm not actually shedding any tears.
Eh, new changes, new tactics. If the game stayed the same forever it'd get boring.
CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |

well i'm PvE'er and CCP seems to hate people who likes beeing in battleships then :(
CPP is like Blizzard! never listen to me :P I want missions with bigger ships and not more zerg.... Fighting 1-2 BS >> fighting a gazillion of drones.

actully as NPC ships don't really have cap there is no change to nos in the PVE setting :) ----------------------------------- I'm working my way through college target CCP

They don't have big cap, but they have. And nerfing NOS means no more microing of NOS to suck up some energy from NPCs...
EVE goes WoW. (in terms of making a game idiotproof and ez to play)

It's a nerf, plain and simple.
While I hate NOS Domis same as the next guy, they have their place, and while it takes some of the love off the capships, most carriers and dreads use neutralizers, not Nos. What it does do is give the vagabond pilots of the universe free reign to terrorize with alot less to worry about, since the only sure-fire way of killing one of those little abominations is scram, web web web, and nos the life out so they can't run.
So, there you have it. Invest in vagabonds now....gonna be a huge mark-up on them soon.
