Remote sensor dampeners are overpowered.

Erlik Draknor Minmatar Republic Military School	Posted - 2007.08.01 21:17:00 - [1] Remote Sensor Dampeners are overpowered and need to be balanced. A non-specialized ship can fit 2-3 (e.g. curse) and bring someone's lock time and targeting range to the point of being useless. Sensor damps work 100% of the time. They should have it chance based like ECM to bring it inline with other ewar. Anyone else agree?

However the idea of hardpoints to fit EW modules is one idea. or giving EW boats a free skill of 100% bonus to senor damps and gimping them in half would be cool too. I think it's far worse for the guy with sensor booster. But i tend to agree that remote sensor dampener are overpowered. Isn't it kinda ironic and sad the most used raven pvp fitting is one with sensor dampeners and armor tanking? Somehow the balance between armor tanking and shield tanking is kinda broke. Big can hit hard but can hardly hit frigs, and Small hits small but hits rapid but for little damage. No more EW, not more Rigs, no more Implants, Just Pew-Pew and Bang Bang. Oh wait never mind, because the community would be split and half and 50% of the players would say Friggies are too strong and 49% would say BS are too strong while 1% say the game should not have any PVP elements.

The whiners got it nerfed , now someone who prefers ewar to overgrown tanks has to use damps. If your aggressor manages to neutralize your ship with ewar and you can't think of a way to fight back , just accept your fate and die.
