Even without that fancy Faction-Stuff I can go around 3000 m/sec (without Rigs!) and maintain the Neuts and the MWD with the CapBooster.
And do not talk about Solo and then on the other hand of Fleets with 20+ on each side. I'm having most fun in Gangs with max 5-10 people, and you can find that alot.
Can you fit anything that resembles a tank with that? Funny how the curse's role was to control the cap game, like the Huginn can control the range game as to can the Lachesis, as the rook can control the targeting game. Now what is left with the curse? It must drain his own cap to drain the others. Its like saying the huginn needs to web itself to web his target, or the Lachesis needs to reduce its targeting range to damp his targets.
I've been saying that since the beginning. A tool which sees its efficiency decreasing because it's doing what it's supposed to do is complete nonsense. Would people like to have their dps decreasing proportionally to the amount of tank left to their target ?
There's never been a I-Win ship in EVE, every setup has a counter. It's rather those who define a given setup/ship as I-Win who suffer from an IQ inversely proportional to the pilot they face. But it seems that the trend nowadays is to reward mediocrity and sheep mentality.
I miss the times when 10K players were a record on TQ. At least it seemed that the community wasn't made of a majority of players who need their parents to pay their subscription with all the non-stop whine about nerf this nerf that.
Why the hell does the crowd run after "BALANCE" ? Is your life balanced, as ugly or attractive you are born ? With or without money ? With or without luck ? With or without connections ? With or without health ?
The first thing those who believe that a given setup makes an I-Win ship should do is train for and use it in order to realize that they can go down like anyone else. It's really the zenith of arrogance and mediocrity to believe that because you can't find the way to beat a setup, no one can do it...
And yes, I died quite a few time to NOSboats and it never came to my mind to call "NEEEEEERF !!!".
